Hi guys,

I'm just curious if you bought any of your games for full price, and if yes, which one(s)?

I bought all of my games from sales, bundles, or got them from free promotions.

not so many. Pc gaming can be so much cheaper than console gaming, everything goes on sale :D
I recently bought Theme Park Studio for the full price. I haven't touched it much yet, but it's in development.

On PC there's always a kind of discount on some website really. I bought Dark Souls 2 for half the price Steam lists before it's even out. So it's almost impossible to even get it at full price as the best deal if you look around.

On Steam, no, not that I can remember. Seeing how often things go on sale or appear in bundle deals, I wait for those before I buy. Before I was using Steam though, I think I did buy some games at whatever full price was at the time. But I probably bought them well after their original release and got them for less than they originally sold for, so I'm not sure you could that as full price. AFAIK, the only games I still have around in that category are CDs/DVDs of the Myst series, some Zork games, and the Masterpieces of Infocom.

Fortix, that's about it. :P

I mean, I suppose the N64 games I had were at or near retail price, but they were all gifts anyway. Oh, right, I also bought a game full price when I bought my DS way back when. Definitely wasn't worth it. -_-

Edit: Forgot about Fortix, (just read Azone's post)

Space Hulk

Blood Bowl

Divinity Original Sin

Might & Magic X: Legacy

and many others outside of Steam (Diablo III, Torchlight II, and many I cant remember now)

And I cant mention the games back in the 80's or 90's, they were a LOT.

I don't remember when I last bought a game at full price (i.e. $50+). I've bought new games at release or pre-ordered them, but I still didn't pay full price. For example, I pre-ordered Skyrim for $42.
