That's nice. I missed the last time it was in a bundle. It's neat that they provide gog keys too.
EDIT: I just realize beating the average nets you hint books and desktop backgrounds. Are the hint books any good?

Definitely worth it, there's like 200 hours of gameplay in there. I paid $10 for the whole series when it was released on GOG and don't regret it one bit. For $1 it's a steal!

Average price paid is $1.60. How sad.

Der-de-der question here, but what's so special about the GOG key?

probably that up until recently they never gave gog keys on any bundle promo; and that gog versions of older games are most times better than the regular version, plus being drm-free

  • drm free
  • adapted to new systems and stuff
  • bonus thingies ;3

bonus stuff+ games always work perfectly on newer pcs without the need to patch.

There is actually another reason to get the GOG edition over the Steam version. Unlike the latest Spiderweb games, there is no native windowed mode included in the Geneforge titles. You can however use the GOG version with D3D Windower to disable full screen. Doesn't work with Steam because of the DRM.

I already had this. There is potentially hundreds of hours of game here. Can't beat $1. Before a few months ago you couldn't find these games for less than $10 each on average, and there are five of them. Steam sells the pack for about $20.

If you pay $ 1 earned a bonus at the end of the promotion?

Absolutely amazing deal, $1 is a steal.

Got it because it seemed interesting. Turns out I already have it, but hey, there's some hintbook and a GOG key. No regrets.

EDIT - Also, I didn't think this Indiegamestand thing would be such a quality sale. I mean, it was a good idea and all but these fail nowadays, even if they're good (see the first Bundle In A Box). I' glad this little thingy is working out, and it deserves it because it's so organized and just geat.

yeah, I'm pretty surprised how well it's turning out right now. It'll be random between DRM and Steam games, but so far the Steam games they chose aren't just crap

Thanks for the heads-up! For those for whom it sounds familiar, you may have picked it up in the Indie Royale July Jubilee bundle. Check the individual Geneforge pages, not the Saga page, on Steam, to see if you already own it.

GOG keys are awesome... too bad they are basically recycling bundle games with them.

I'd pick it up for 10 if anyone can! It comes with gnomoria, this collection, and the next games! I think gnomoria is a good game at this point, and should be enjoyed by anyone who likes dwarf fortress! :) and from the way these games have been going, I'm sure the next game will be a decent game!
