To be fair, I almost put one game and one DLC up as giveaways for one of my Steam groups... I'm pretty sure both of those would have had at most 2 entries (which is why I ended up just giving the DLC away in a public giveaway), so I can see this being a not-necessarily-malicious thing.

Admittedly I'm not talking about a $60 game there though.

If I buy cod 3 for a friend and gift it via a private give away is that the same as what happened here?
That is kind of sad and smart too, but who cares?
