So I'm building a PC and am unsure of what Graphics Card to get.

ASRock 970 Extreme 3 Motherboard
Amd FX 6350 Six Core 3,9 GHz
2x4GB Ram

This is what I have from the hardware and this is the first time I'm building my own PC.
I just really don't know which Graphic Card to get, any help please?

EDIT: Budget around 200 Euros

According to a Dutch, trusted and independent, website the best bang for bucks for your budget would be a Club3D Radeon R9 270 '14 Series
I assembled my last 2 gaming rigs based on their advice and I cant be more happy with what I got.
Around 200 dollars, if you mean euros you can get a better card

I am having the same build only with FX 8320,i suggest you get the same since the price difference ir not that much.I choose r9 270 for graphics card,i think this is the best value for money.

The 2GB version? 4GB seems kinda overkill for me as I will mainly use this built for gaming. And I can't think of a game that won't run properly on the 2GB version.

As for the CPU, I got it for free as well as the case, the ram and the motherboard lol. I'm gonna try it out in my build first and if I see any need to upgrade I will.

Thanks for the answer :)

Kinda depends on the resolution you have ;)
Bigger or multiple screens need more memory
At this moment not many games require more than 2 gb. Battlefield 4 is the only I can think of, on 1080p, but more will follow (I play BF4 fine on 2 gb)

I got this monitor

So, really new to building my own pc and stuff, should I rather go with 4GB?

Yeah the 2 gb is plenty. As far as i know that memory is for supporting real high resolutions,so if you dont have 3 monitors or something it shoud be fine.

Certainly it depends on your budget but I'm very happy with my MSI R9 280x Hawk. It's quite powerfull (I play at FullHD with Graphics settings to max on almost every game without problems). Yet it's very quiet, my whole PC is as good as silent without any fancy water-cooling or so. And it's not so expensive.

Edit: seems to be out of your budget-range. So I guess the r9 270x could be the right one for you!

Thanks a lot :) The 200 bucks are just for orientation. I have about 400 bucks left to spend, but I'd rather have something left of that money and get something nice to try this built out :D

I'd check on hwcompare, gpuboss and tomshardware for the best card for your budget, and keep in mind if you plan to play specific games that are optimized/not optimized for that GPU maker (see watchdogs & nvidia for example).
Also I'd recommend to keep your PSU in mind: depending on how much juice the rest of your rig is going to suck (and think ahead if you plan to upgrade), you may be left with little power for the graphics, so you may have to pick a very efficient card (750Ti seems the best) or have to upgrade the PSU too.
Have fun building it :)
