Yeah, Silver is my favourite, but I jumped back on board with 5th Gen which was essentially a reboot. A good place to start if you're thinking about it ;)

cool(not that its a particularly hard series to break into, they were more or less nonlinear aside from white2). it needs a 3ds right? i might look at prices on ebay or something at some point, theres a zelda for it too that was supposed to be good I think.

Yeah, X and Y are for the 3DS. They remade Ocarina of Time for 3DS, but the one you're thinking of is probably A Link Between Worlds, a top-down style sequel to A Link to the Past (which is on my list after I beat Pokemon ;) ) Reviewed well but apparently short gameplay time.

I'm curious about what thing about Pokemon trading network, if someone can answer...
I guy I know have a NDS with an SD card with multiple games on it, he just download all games for free(aka pirating) and put them into his SD card, using cheats he adds legendary or rare Pokemon and after trades them to legit one's.
How is that possible having pirate game being able to connect to the multiplayer network? and how Nintendo allows that? and this "not legit" Pokemon are deleted after? Also this happened last year, maybe now is fixed idk, but he said the way to know if Pokemon is legit or not is seeing where you obtained/captured him.
Also lol, Google corrects "pokemon" to "Pokemon", didn't know such word is in their dictionary.

There are many ways to get hacked pokemon, especially on the older games. Hell you could use a website and the GTS function in game to get any pokemon you wanted, just by pointing your dns at it. There is also no way of knowing if a pokemon is legit or not, if the values were entered correctly for a legal pokemon. If you can deposit it in the GTS, then it's legit in the game's eyes, no matter the pokemon origin.
I haven't played my x/y carts for a few months, so i don't know if its cracked or not.

Best to use pokegen for event pokemon unavailable in your country. (I live in the US and cannot normally get the Red Genesect)

Not quite part of the thread but I'll play along XD
I believe that if the R4 or whatever card can beat the 3DS's firmware you can go undetected, but Nintendo is always pushing updates. If you're caught I think they can remotely brick the console.
As for the pokemon, it's pretty easy with third party software and hardware. But it's so much easier now to train there is no point in hacking.

I don't collect Vivillions, but, if you want, I have a Meadow Vivillion, if I recall. Been a while since I don't play.
Also, I have Water Safari, with Frogadier, Floatzel and Bibarel (this last one, of course, is the best =D).
If anybody is interested in any of these stuff, want something else or just wanna add, please, let me know so I can add back!

I have some people with a gyarados in their safari. Problem is that I don't remember where i found these people.
But if you want a gyarados shiny, i can catch it for you.

I need your help looking for a Gyarados friend safari.
If you have one please add me; and post below with your friend code, name, and what else is in your safari.
Also, in X/Y is the butterfly Pokemon Vivillon, which has a different cosmetic form depending on the 3DS's geographic location (Map). I think it would be cool to complete the set.
My safari is normal type with Teddiursa, Kecleon and Eevee.
My native Vivillion is River.
