Until you can get out of there, I'm sure you're already doing this, but try to limit interaction with your flatmates as much as possible. Try talking to your school, too. You may be surprised at what they can do for you.

Do you have any friends in the City? I would put up a close friend for an extended period of time if he helped pay the rent.

Keep looking for another room and ask your friends if they know of anything or if they'd be willing to go for an apartment together with you.

What is your part time job? Maybe you can swap this for something with a better salary and thus afford a better flat. One of my fellow students made quite a significant wealth by buying used cars, fixing them up and selling them for a profit all while he was studying. Also I knew some students who found a nice lodging at the houses of old people, where they could basically stay for free by just helping them with some chores.

Looks like your flatmates are asking for some anxyolitic in their milk. If they drink regularly, putting some in their booze scores you bonus points.

Now, on a serious note. Most universities have some service to help students find lodging. Try to contact it.
Your university will also have a student support service if you want to talk out the toxins from those assholes.

Good luck man, I know the feeling sometimes. It might not get better, but try to set some baselines. I know a lot of my problems come because I'm a bit of a pushover; if something really matters to you, impose it. If you're living through university arranged housing, contact the student services people. If not, you could try talking to someone at one of the offices if your roommates are being a problem and breaching part of a contract.

Honestly I think there are way bigger and more important issues in the world at the moment. I mean while kids are dying in third world countries or men butchered by the thousands for having a different religion (yes I'm looking at you ISIS) I just can't feel sorry for sb feeling uncomfortable in his apartment or not getting a big enough salary. People are unable to accept people of different skin-color and religion or provide equal rights to the opposing gender (still after thousands of years). How can you expect them to accept you then?

This world is utterly self-centered and existentialist. We care only about ourselves, our little world, our looks, our identity and our comfort.
