Install for Firefox

  • First step, you will need to download Greasemonkey from here
  • After you installed Greasemonkey and restarted Firefox, download the script from here.
  • You will be promopted for the installation, after you click install you are done!
  • Now you are ready to use it

    Install for Opera

  • Go to 'Preferences' (CTRL+F12) > Advanced > Content > Javascript Options
  • Choose your 'User Javascript folder', somewhere nice
  • Right click here > 'Save Content Link As'
  • Put it in your special nice javascript folder you just made and you are done. :)

Install for Chrome

Press WinKey+R

Type:

chrome --enable-easy-off-store-extension-install https://github.com/downloads/rossengeorgiev/sg-enhancement-addon/sg_enhancement_init.user.js

Press enter, confirm installation at the bottom

Install for Safari

Install for IE

Create a bookmark with:

Open steamgifts, click bookmark, win.

May I ask why the Steamgifts extension needs permission to access my data on all websites and not just this one? I'm not bothered, just wondering.

The popup is displayed for every userscript you install. SGE is then injected on the site at which point is loses access to any features chrome provides for userscripts. Just ignore it.

Hi! Both RAGE and Serious Sam 3: BFE are in my games list. Are in my Sync List. Are in my ignore filter (I pressed ignore on them twice) yet they both continue to show.

Just thought I would bring this to your attention.

There is usually 5mb storage for strings. I can imagine having that many games ignored.

Well considering your AWESOME addon auto-ignores my 200+ game list I only have 5 things in the actual ignore list.

So its about 5, unless you count my entire game library which is ignored by this AWESOME ADDON!

Yeh, thats normal, I am just concerned that the ignore list doesnt work. Perhaps, tell me what browser you are using, so I can point you where to check for errors?

Nothing unusual. Perhaps you have your browser set to clear out local storage. Or you use an extension that does it. Or you use some application that does it. Cannot think of another reason.

Can you add "Limit by entries"? It could hide giveaways with more number of entries than we had set.

I think it could be useful ;) e.g. I claim it's no point to enter to giveaways with more then 1000 entries because the chance of win is very low - it's wasting the points.

Thank you for the addon, it works pretty well. I only have a problem: the float menu doesn't seem to work. Here's what I'm getting:

I use noscript and adblock plus, but noscript gives permission to steamgifts and googlecode. I also tried "disable adblock plus for steamgifts" but didn't give any results. Suggestions?

Thanks again for this great userscrip, Zo. I would like to suggest a filter that would show DLC's for games that are in my account. This would save people searching for several individual games once or twice a day and looking for the DLC's on the list.

Hello, I unfortunately only own a mac in which I can play games on. Sadly most steam games are for pc only, I was wondering it was possible to have a setting to show only mac compatible games for users as myself.
