Install for Firefox

First step, you will need to download Greasemonkey from here
After you installed Greasemonkey and restarted Firefox, download the script from here.
You will be promopted for the installation, after you click install you are done!
Now you are ready to use it
Install for Opera
Go to 'Preferences' (CTRL+F12) > Advanced > Content > Javascript Options
Choose your 'User Javascript folder', somewhere nice
Right click here > 'Save Content Link As'
Put it in your special nice javascript folder you just made and you are done. :)

Install for Chrome

Press WinKey+R

Type:

chrome --enable-easy-off-store-extension-install https://github.com/downloads/rossengeorgiev/sg-enhancement-addon/sg_enhancement_init.user.js

Press enter, confirm installation at the bottom

Install for Safari

Install NinjaKit and restart Safari
Then click here

Install for IE

Create a bookmark with:

Open steamgifts, click bookmark, win.

The new version seems to be filtering out the ad at the top of the page. Even the box the ad was in is gone. I'm pretty sure it was there earlier when you first updated the addon to work with the site redesign.

I've removed the old one and DL'd the new one, but it won't work. If I open the download, it returns an error message and it is not showing up in greasemonkey. Any suggestions (Firefox)

You need greasemonkey installed and enabled. Then you click the link. It will automatically popup a windows, display some info and a button install.

I have Greasemonkey and I've done everything I should have done. It Just won't give the option to install. I had no problems the first time I did it a couple weeks ago. Dunno why it's not working now. It's cool, though. I switched to Chrome and it's working fine there.

Made a little dirty temporary fix for the forum issue.
I haven't noticed anything wrong with this one, but I wouldn't exactly rely on that.

Its made as a separate Userscript from the original, so deactivate the original first;

Adblock does not seem to work with the add on... I can still see the ads. I generally don't use adblock for this site, but when I was experimenting with sth I noticed that.

Had that "problem" too. You probably had a very old version. Just clear the box, check the "Ignore" checkbox and you'll be ok.

i have the same problem, there isn't filtering bar (Endless scrolling), the bar up don't come down, gremlins not function, all of these not function in the homepage but function in the forum.

Using Opera, as soon as the page finishes loading it goes to a blank white page. Older version before site update worked fine. I had it disabled until now so I can't verify any intermediate versions. Downloaded file in OP just in case it had changed.

I have not got the slightest idea what is causing this. It seems that after it loads, it jumps to a blank page, if you click back you get the normal page. It does not do it on older version of Opera, 9.2 for example.

Games no longer stay in the ignore list. If you check the list right after adding them, they're there, but if you refresh the page they're gone. Any idea what's causing this? :(

That's because you're using cookies to store the filter data and yes, mine did indeed hit the 4 kb limit. What you should be using is GM_setValue and GM_getValue because the values get saved in the firefox preferences thus offering a much bigger storage size :)
