Why people still buying FF 7 in steam?

Because some people aren't dirty pirates

Because people like us have the money to buy the game and stay away from jail

I'm tempted to make a thread titled as "Why people still making threads of Why people still buying (enter the game's name here) on Steam?" :D
Anyway, I'd love to have it on Steam for several reasons. (Legit copy, convenience, achievements, tracking time etc)

well copies are like out even before it was sold in the net..

This has achievements, something unique compared to those other versions. This does not require an emulator. This also shows the company that interest still exists in an older title that many have asked to be remade in HD. If enough demand exists and it appears profitably, one could hope that it still might happen. In any case, my discs for the pc version are long gone and this remedies that. And is much easier to store.

I wanted to buy it for my ps2, but it was $44, compare that to the price on steam, which is just $11.99.

I like to support developers who makes games I like. Fuck me, right?

Because it gives those who never played it before a chance to finally see why this game is one of the most belived games of all time. Also, it gives people like me a chance to finally play the game without having any of the discs mysteriously vanish.

Because it's the best FF and i would buy it too if i want to play it again.

lol actually I only made this thread just to make fun of those other threads.. I really don't care about how people get their stuff.. Buying it supports the developers yes I know I do that most of the time.. but some point in my life I was or I am pirate.. I hate people who come so clean saying "we're not pirate etc etc, although there are but rarely.. at some point of our life we tried downloading or getting pirated stuff.."

Cause this one got Steam cloud to save stuff.
And people never learn not to make this kind of threads.

It's on my wishlist, so i'll probably get it eventually.
