It can't be River Song because River is his wife, not girlfriend, and she wouldn't diminish that after all she had to do to marry the Doctor.

My brother suggested that Missy was another TARDIS form. The Promised Land did not exist then would have been created by the Doctor in the TARDIS. I don't know if this is coherent, though. I never watched the classic series.

Solved, haven't watched the new Doctor yet.

1. Agreed with cams02...jumped....with a little help from his Doctor
2. I'm going with an alternate, older Clara...maybe one of the Claras in the time stream lived or even the Victorian one somehow....or yeah she's like Tasha and not River...Moff tells us she's the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere and like every new character introduced some how we all speculate what character returning they might be....and he just sits and laughs....and kills off another Rory. He's still got a bunch of those left over.
