Ubi following EA's SimCity fuck up style.

With the exception of actually giving away games of value, unlike EA, who still try to make money that way.

Ubisoft has realized their mistake and know where they stand..they are on the verge of becoming just like EA i bet they'll do anything to prevent that from happening.

Yeah. I'm sure that releasing The Crew will repair their reputation, as well as this.

Well good thing of Ubisoft giving free dlc and game, EA should learn from them, we bought battlefield 4 and premium and the only thing we get is battlepacks, the game was more than "fuck up"

CD Projekt Red have always been like this. That's why you usually find their game on GOG so you can get their games DRM free.

CD Projekt Red=GoG.com, it surprises me how few people are actually aware of this fact.

Point still remains.

You missed my point; the reason you find CD Projekt Red games on GOG.COM is becauseit's the same company, genius.

No, I didn't miss your point. My point was that CD Projekt Red are quite consumer friendly which is why they decide to make their games DRM free. It didn't matter if they owned the site or not.

I know my RU OLD shows up in my inventory.
Obviously there is no Play Now or Download button, but its displaying in my library at least.

I'm just waiting till The [S]Crew releases.
That glorious full price title with microtransactions all over the place, apparently shitty driving and no 60 fps support (however, it's possible to unlock it).

I liked the driving.

I have people on my friend list who have pre-ordered The Crew. After Unity came out. It's incredible.

Why? What's wrong with Unity? I thought it was almost as good as Goat Simulator, but with more cinematic frame rates.

More like... What's NOT wrong with Unity?

There's nothing wrong with Unity, it's a great devkit!
AC Unity on the other hand..... we don't talk about that in this hous, son.

Well, if this stuff works with key resellers... it would be so worth it but i doubt it.

Anyways i'm not buying any of their games this early. I'll wait a year or so.

Looks like they're trying. That's better than what Ubisoft usually does. I'm actually surprised they are going through all that to try to make up for it.

Their stocks fell by over 12%.
If they dont "try", they will go bankrupt.

Permalink

Ah yeah, that's a fair point. That's quite a drop they need to make up for.

Now if they would just pull their elitist heads out of their asses about PC ports. Maybe have some halfway decent coders go retouch the whole AC series for PC.

Yeah, I know, that shit is never going to happen.

I wonder why they decide now to try to make up for past mistakes?

Oh, right, because they angered the console players (particularly the PlayStation fanbase who always seemed to side with them a bit more due to exclusive DLC and all that).

So they are providing more Ubi junk to make up for the Ubi junk people bought in the first place. Sounds like a never ending story.

I can't forgive Ubisoft for Watch Dogs. I'm still inclined to spend my money elsewhere, regardless of apologies and free content.

This is a pretty nice gesture. I´ll definitely be picking up Far Cry 4 for free. And to my surprise you get the game of choice on the platform you purchased the game on which for me is Steam. I expected them to give everyone a key to redeem on uPlay but that´s not the case!

It's not free btw... you simply bought a product but got a different item since your initial item was "problematic".

It is free.. I paid €29.99 for the Season Pass, I still get all the content that was promised for Season Pass holders. Plus I get to pick a free game worth €60.
