Well look at my account, I don't consider myself unlucky, there are some here with tons more entries then me that have yet to win something, this just looks like a complain thread to me, have patience.

Look at the number of other entrants in a giveaway, you have better odds the fewer entries there are (well duh). You don't have especially rotten luck. :P

Sorry, that sigh was directly at the attitudes of the other people. And yeah, I can understand that. I can't say I blame you. I was lucky enough to decide to lurk until I'd learnt most of the dos and don'ts of this forum. I can't blame their attitudes sometimes (we do get some real idiots come here, either thinking that creating a giveaway gives them the game or bringing up ways to fix this site that have been shot down a thousand times before, just to give two examples), but sometimes the community lashes out at people who are genuinely new and looking for help.

I hope you decide to stick around and keep posting. If not, at least keep one eye on the forum. Puzzle giveaways such as this totally shameless plug of mine occasionally get posted to give you better chances at a game.

Keep on trying, some people get lucky early, some people never win anything, this IS a raffle, and you should treat it as one.

I've just won my first giveaway and it was from a riddle private giveaway (much bigger chances of winning, but you have to figure it out... it can be quite entertaining). Been around here for a week or so, barely hitting 100 entrys, it's just luck. If you see all these raffles just like what they are - a free chance to win something without cost, then you wont have a bad time at all.
Also, don't get disappointed easily. On average each giveaway must have around 400 entrys, so the odds of winning are low anyway.

I have so few games, and only discovered steam because of the humble indie bundle (it came with steam keys and I googled steam! I know that sounded pathetic 'oh how could you not know about steam' well I didn't okay?)
I've been entering for all kinds of stuff and I guess my luck just sucks!
