Giveaways for an event

I want to give some games away at a LAN party coming up. How many points do new accounts start with? Is there any way to create a private/group give away that doesn't require points? I'm trying to avoid everyone having to sign up prior to the event in order to accrue points.

I think the concern here is that maybe not everyone have a steam account that have at least 100$ value to create an account on sg. About the points is not a problem

Thanks. The LAN itself costs $50 to enter so they almost all would have an account worth more than that.

It's not just 100 in value, it's 100 in non bundled value too, so a few of the bigger titles (civ 5, most 2k games from the bundle, portal 2) don't count towards that as well.

new accounts start with 25 points, (usually) it takes one day to reach 100+ points

Unless you just want the CV, it's easier to just use a random generator to do it. Hell, I even have one I coded you could use. Issue is it's a normal windows app and not all that friendly (it was just something I whipped up for myself).
