Never cheap out on the power supply. Never.

And you can probably find an R9 280 for about the same price as that GTX 660 which is a good bit faster.

I assume you already have an OS?

Yup i have a 8.1 os cd, as for the power supply you mean a good brand or more W powers ?

Thank's for help :D

Good manufacturer, good platform, good brand. In your case you probably want a bit more wattage as well. Since you're on a budget, a decent quality unit should suffice.

My recommendation: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hj2dJx

I'd probably try for a higher quality PSU if you can stretch the budget but that unit shouldn't have any problems.

So i have change the PSU to 460W cooler master

Any reason you don't want the rest of the changes? More hard drive space, a significantly faster GPU, and a better monitor?

And that CM psu isn't very good...it's actually pretty bad. It's a rebranded 400W unit that can't do more than 420W max.

First of all thank you very much for the advice i really appreciate it, really thank you

I have change HD space, better monitor and the gpu and stretch the budget for good PSU

About the RAM is there a big difference between the 1333W and the 1600W ?

Nothing significant between performance in those. Your greatest bottleneck is going to be your HDD... but honestly, unless you are planning on moving to an SSD the HDD will always be the turtle in the chassis.

Well i actually have 1TB external hard so this HDD is for the windows only and some other programs

Here Microsoft Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool, this thing is to make a bootable USB to install your OS, since you won't be buying an Optical Drive to save money, and since it's useless too.

Idk if you can use a DVD/CD instead of an ISO image to make a bootable USB, but I guess yes, but you can always make an ISO from your DVD, also be sure your Windows 8/8.1 is 64bit not 32bit, your key will be valid for both 32bit(x86) or 64bit(x64), since for the serial key it doesn't matter.

I agree with Aloxx on both fronts. Cheaper PSUs have a tendency to deteriorate fast, and using a PSU that is going to be tapped out from the get-go usage wise will cause the same issue regardless of the quality. In my personal opinion you should not go any lower than 550W on this rig. At first it will be more than you need. However, time will wear it down and by the time you are ready to move on to your next build this will be performing more like a 400-450W supply. Age is just as much of a component killer as dust for your PSU.
When it comes to the card, the R9 card will meet your needs far longer than the 660 will. Not only do I believe it is a superior card (mind you my cards are GTX), but the 660 is not far from only being supported as a legacy card. Running with the GTX here will certainly make compatibility an issue in a shorter amount of time.
You may also want to consider dumping the Intel for an AMD. I prefer the Intel chips myself, but there is not denying that AMDs are significantly cheaper and are still relevant.

Well i agree with both of you but for sorry i am running on sh***y budget here :( , so i think 500W is enough right ?
what do you think ?

That rig should draw somewhere between 300-350W max.

The one you picked is fine. If you're ok with non-modular cables, there's actually a CX600 and CX750 for $5 less. Or there's an EVGA 650W full modular for $5 less as well but it has a quad 12V rail so you'll have to make sure to connect the cables accordingly.

No.

Guys, I wouldn't run an internet only machine on less than 450W, let alone one intended for gaming.

It's incredibly unbalanced. Also, 350W PSU and GTX660 is no no.

i have pick the 350W because for some how pcpartpicker tell me the estimated Wattage is 307W !!!!!

Look around more. 10 seconds on ebay found this which is bigger, higher resolution, and cheaper, at the cost of being refurbished. LCDs generally don't get old, so you might even be able to find a decent monitor on your local craigslist for 50, if you really need to save money.

Their are better monitors for $10 - $15 more on pcpartpicker.
Acer G226HQLBbd or Acer S220HQLAbd
If your budget is so tight that you can't afford to spent $10 more you really shouldn't buy a over $600 gaming pc.
You really shouldn't buy hardware that was outdated 5 years ago in the first place.

An FX6300 is better than i3 for that budget, gaming PC should be at least 4 cores, is not worth getting an i3 with only 2 cores, even if single core performance is better on i3, and you don't need an expensive CPU for 650$ gaming PC. And more important that GTX 660 is already old, an GTX760 is much better. Is better getting a better GPU than CPU in 650$ Gaming PC, i3 is a just a waste of money it has 2 cores and if it makes difference it's only a few fps. And the GTX 760 is truly great, can't say same about GTX660.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PrRcyc FX-6300 + GTX 760, if you find extra 20$ for a CPU cooler from Cooler Master for this would be really great, but for any build really.

OP chose that motherboard so I just put in an i3 for that build. I also believe that AMD cpu is better for that budget. Same for the GPU, I put GTX 660 because it's what the OP picked. The point is if he's willing to drop the i5, he will get a better build.

Well i think i3 is not going to be good for 3-4 years PC as i am thinking about my upcoming PC, you know for sorry my s****y budget is going to cost me 7 times more money here in my country, so it's going be hard to upgrade my PC in near future :(

You may want to consider taking a look at the $600 PC on Tom's Hardware.

I still think that anything less that a 450W PSU is ridiculous, but then I have never used an i3 either.

I need a good CPU to work for about 3-4 years and run games on high or maybe ultra because it's going to be hard to even upgrade my PC in the near future :(
