GreenManGaming likes to screw with their clients which want to buy something. As for me - I simply can't buy anything from their site using my credit card (although I did earlier, but not anymore on their site, although EVERYWHERE else it works just fine) and I am left only with PayPal which sometimes doesn't work...
Being considered gambling website by mistake my ass... >_<

There's a gambling websit called MisterGreenGambling or something.
With the two names being very similar, banks often discharge GMG.
And you do realise you could just contact your bank and they can unblock it for you?

Already done so. And it turns out, the problem was on their side, with explanation that sometimes checkout blocks any kind of payment until account is manually cleared from this bug. 2 times I had to ask support to do it in the span of 4 months...

i bought crysis2 yesterday through paypal, and i was 62cents short on paypal so they took them from by bank. no problem there.

Are you sure you have enough money on your paypal?
And sometimes PayPal wants you to authenticate your account with a credit card if you shop at a certain site too many times.

GMG sucks a lot.
so no surprise for me you have problems with them too.
So often i cant buy the deals because the button buy now is missing on the game page.
also at the moment killing floor is on sale but you cant buy it because you get an error by clicking on buy now:
Error 404: Page Not Found
Damn it captain something's gone wrong
Sorry but the page you are looking for has not been found. Try checking the URL for errors, then hitting the refresh button on your browser.
They simply force people to buy elsewhere with an behaviour like this.

Same problem, bought Bioshock Infinite a few weeks back using Paypal instant bank transfer and when I tried to purchase Simcity with the same method this week I was told the vendor does not accept this type of payment and I had to use my credit card(still through Paypal) instead.

This isn't exactly what you are going through, I am just posting this to make you feel better that you aren't alone. I just bought The Cave, using an instant bank transfer, less than a minute ago, as well. We aren't on the same continent, so I won't count that as meaning anything.
With that said, I'll explain a bit about what I went through, over the past few months, and maybe that will help you get some service. I doubt it is the same problem, but it is a story worth it for some that will have this problem.
Back in December I tried to place an order using Paypal and it was rejected. It said payment failed and then gave that message about how they sometimes are considered a gambling website and to contact your payment provider. I ended up writing an email to my bank and they said they aren't blocking it from happening. I didn't even bother trying to write Paypal because no site is going to accept Paypal payments and have Paypal blocking them at the same time. I didn't have anything to buy, so I gave up on it. The deal I wanted was gone, so I sat back for like a month or something.
After a while, I accidentally came upon a post, at another site, that was talking about how if you are having paymnent issues, to contact Green Man Gaming directly and they can fix it. So I decided to do it, in case something popped up that I wanted. I wrote them and got some semi-automated message:
*"Thank you for your email. At Greenman Gaming we take security very seriously. As such we need to verify certain information, such as IP address. If you are using security hardware, that hides this information (VPN, Proxy's, etc), we are unable to verify who are or where you are accessing our website from.
Please ensure that your browser settings are set to the factory default conditions. This will allow you to successfully purchase games from Greenman Gaming. Please try to place your order again."*
After a useless back and forth of constantly explaining that I don't use a proxy or a VPN, I told the woman that was helping me to provide me with a reverse traceroute, some other tools, some way of fixing it, or to simply not bother writing me back. I know quite a bit about networking, the woman knew nothing. She was just pushing response buttons and had no clue what to do or what was going on. She chose to not write me back. I wasn't rude or anything. I just made it clear that if she could not help me, that I would appreciate it if she would stop wasting our time. She chose to stop wasting it. I respect it. She wasn't going to be able to help me and she knew it. Funny thing, her last post to me was a repeat posting of that post I quoted before. She actually posted the same thing twice, even though I was the only one of the two of us that understood it.
So a few days later, a sale started where there was something I wanted. I started a new ticket, hoping to not get her. This time I didn't screw around, I went with the mile long ticket that explained and covered everything. I actually managed to not get an auto response. This nice guy popped up and he said it is failing due to potential proxies. He made some adjustments to my account and said I could use it. I idiotically pointed out where my traceroute to them stops and offered to help them resolve this issue for good, which resulted in him not reading what I said and assuming the IP I posted was my own, he then locked me out of being able to purchase again, by forcing my account to use the wrong ip. I had to write him two more times, only to have... guess what.... That friggin semi-auto reply that I quoted above. What?
My reply: "Please don't start going automated and backwards. We were actually making progress, then you just went right back to the beginning again. If you don't want to read anything I say, just say, "I don't want to read anything you say" and I will be gone.".
He then reset my account, again. I didn't even bother trying to help him solve the problem. I was able to make a couple of purchases.
About two weeks later, I was locked out, again. I wrote them and got another woman. Of course she leads off with the semi-auto response. I have now seen this message 4 times across three tickets. It then took them 8 days to respond to helping me. I posted three times in those 8 days begging them to actually help me because there were sales I was about to miss. I was polite and all.
When I finally got a response, it was another guy. The woman must have gotten scared off. He asked me if I was making a purchase from a university or a workplace. I mean my god, at this point I'm just like about to go back in time and kill off the people that invented proxies and VPNs. I dropped a long response about how there are thousands of posts all over the internet of people having the same problem as I am. I tried to relay that their security is the problem and that no other site has that junk. I explained how I buy from other places in the UK, from Brazil, and from Sweden, yet I can't buy with them.
So finally, 5 days later, the guy reset my account and it has worked for two weeks now. I'm fairly certain that they turned off the ip tracking, for me. They claim it is to protect them from sending keys to the wrong region, but it hurts any of us that have our IPs change at any time.
The sad thing is, they refused to allow me to purchase the games I missed during the two weeks it took to get them to press a button to reset my account. I stated all throughout the process that I was trying to buy games before the sales went away. Clearly, with all the people that have these problems, they should all be experts at handling it. At least you would think.
The guy that helped me was named Nolan. Ask for him. He actually talks to you and knows what he is doing. Get it resolved quickly because it is unlikely they will let you go back and get something on sale.

My new rule on this subject is that as long as I can trust a company to deliver a product, I'll ignore customer service and site problems. It sucks, yes, but... a sale is a sale. I have decided that paying more for good customer service just isn't worth it, when it is pretty bad most places. I wouldn't expect much more out of Gamersgate or Steam, for example. Amazon is pretty good about it, though. We'll see in the future, with some of these sites.

GMG mostly sucks anyway. They've lost about $350 in sales from me due to their Capsule bullsht, which they force for most of their "Hot Deals!" so I hardly bother checking their site anymore because of this, and me too, issues using Paypal (order transmit to PP is almost always blank, for starters).

Lol, oh, ok....
If you want a game and you are cheap, you deal with the DRM, if you do not like the DRM, go somewhere else, they do not care, you are insignificant to them.
That does not mean they suck, it means you do not care for their DRM which usually [not always] allows selling back if you do not like the game.

Where are you located?
I had a few problems recently, with GMG, GOG and one of the indie bundle companies.
Recently many US banks started to require specific permission for "cross border" sales, and yes even PayPal gets denied due to the fact GMG uses a UK based PP portal.
A call to my bank fixed the problems.

They have issues with paypal purchases.
After you select to checkout using paypal.. the amount forwarded to paypal is 0.00 or blank (Look on the left side). Therefore the payment fails.
I had reported this a month back but they still have not fixed it.

Ok the latest reply from support says green man gaming have never accepted instant bank transfers through PayPal???? Maybe I've just imagined buying and installing and playing all these game I've bought using that exact method, maybe I'm living in some kind of delusion. Well fuck them, I'll spend my imaginary money elsewhere from now on.

When I signed into PayPal, from the gmg checkout page, the page had my CC details and a link saying why can't I see my other payment options, I clicked the link and a box opened saying this vendor doesn't accept the following types of payment, and had 2 listed one of them being instant bank transfers so I had to just cancel the order which took me back to the option to pay by CC which I cancelled and that took me back to gmg.
Btw my CC has expired and has been for well over a year now although it's still listed as a back up option in my PayPal account.

Ah... I wouldn't trust them to make anything that works, anyway. Knowing how bad their security system is, I'm guessing that the error was on their end and they don't want to admit it. They won't even admit that their security system is preventing many, many users from being able to purchase from them.
At least you got it working. It would be kind of stupid to not accept instant bank transfers through Paypal. I wouldn't put it past them, though. I would never in a million years use Capsule, considering how poorly their site works. I wouldn't expect it to work much better. I'll still hunt down Steam games on their site, but I figure it will stop working for me again, sooner or later.

Their deal is good, but not the only one. I mean you could wait for one of the two sources on Hookups to get it, but there are other deals.. The bonus games aren't great, as they are all $5 or less games.
As much as I hate the way Gamersgate handled my account over Christmas and since, I would go with them because I ended up with the 20% back. If you don't have that, probably not worth it. The two on Hookups may get it really cheap, though. I got Xcom and DMC preorder there the other day for $30, total. They have the Tomb Raider preorder for $25 and some other ones. One of the two might get it.

Seems I can't buy games from this site anymore using instant bank transfer through PayPal, it keeps asking for a credit card. I contacted support and they said they haven't changed their payment options which sounds like bullshit to me coz I've bought loads of games from them over the last year or so using this method but all of a sudden now I can't. Anyway has anybody else experienced the same problem?
Let me clear things up a wee bit, PayPal said the vendor doesn't accept some type of payments, instant bank transfer being one of these. This change has happened in the last week or two coz I recently bought the new Far Cry from gmg without any problems.
