only time ive ragequit a game was batman arkham asylum, when 15 minutes before the end (basically RIGHT outside the building leading to the joker), 100% secrets found, the game save corrupted. i just didnt have the heart to replay it all through again immediately after that happened. its a fantastic game, and i have since then completed it many times... but that time... loading up the game, and just being given a middle finger along with being told the game save was corrupted, and there wasnt shit that could be done... quit and delete.

Awwws, I've finally met my soul mate :). All these years I've thought I was the only person who's bitten her controller out of frustration playing Super Mario Bros. I just used to bite both the controller itself and the cable attached to it.

I know, I was just so little, something like 5-6 years old. I thought it was much nicer to chew on the cable since it was softer than the plastic controller. I didn't even understand I could get an electric shock from it. Yeah, I was a really stupid kid :P

Hard is easy in any DMC game except DMC 4 since game mechanics changed too much. The only problems i had were final bosses... especially Vergil (he really scares at DMD as i saw on Youtube, he even uses twisting swords that can only be blocked if you have godlike reaction). As for DMD, i could barely beat a very first boss. Lol.

Royal Guard style + blocking every attack at the right moment + a following counter-attack (the best thing of this style) with devoured energy will do a trick. Just some practice is needed.

It's won't help ya at all. Especially at high difficulties. On DMD, Vergil recovers HP bar too fast, and your "normal" attacks will cause very small damage. Only Royal Guard counterattack can harm much enough. The more attacks you block, the more damage your counterattack will make. It's pretty possible to absorb so much energy with this style that you can easily kill a mob in 1 counterattack. Even bosses on DMD will lose many HP.

I have only played DMC 3 on PS 2 (I have DMC 4 on Steam), and I have thought I would buy also Steam version of DMC 3 if it's ever on sale :)

I have a friend who's gotten 100% of everything on SMB. Every bandage, A+ on every level, no deaths at all in the light worlds, including Cotton Alley. Only took him about 15 or so minutes to do the Cotton Alley dark worlds.
Amazing as that is, fuck people like that, SMB is horrible.

Wow, you must be one in a million 0_o. I also know games are just games and there's really no point to get angry at them, but when playing, I just can't help getting angry sometimes. In fact, I don't usually get angry at the game, but rather get angry at myself because I can't beat the game. Then I usually ragequit and hate myself for the rest of the day...

Can't remember the first but a recent one would be The Binding of Isaac. Run after run of struggling through the first few floors with shit-tier items / items that don't work well together and eventually ragequitting when it's obvious it's not going to go much further and the whole venture has been a waste of time. Either I have rubbish luck or the game hates me.
