PSA: Regarding links to CS:GO skins

I thought one of the rules was if you contact support then maybe you're allowed to advertise? Does that still apply?

If someone is looking just for criticism he/she may just post screenshots of templates without any link to actual workshop I guess.

Why are people asking for votes in workshop get suspended for advertising when people who disguises their giveaway (and not a giveaway in steamgifts infact) as vote begging from a contest aren't??

Thank god. Mostly because I'm fed up with Counter Strike.

So if you create a skin and then post screenshots asking for feedback without the actual link, would that be acceptable?

I don't make skins, just wondering.

So what is the difference between people posting workshop items, and people advertising for greenlight votes?
