While DotA has this strong point, i find that LoL is way better in many aspects, especially in eliminating chance based events (like random stun proc, random dodge), and having spell casters scale on a statitistic. While i'd love to see denying implemented in LoL (but this is not gonna happen), i find that LoL's mechanics are (imho) more balanced than DotA's. (btw, i don't play a lot, but i play both games and hate equally Blitzcrank and Pudge :p )

Since you like adc , i suggest you to keep money and don't get a second champ that fast.Either way I'd suggest you Draven.i believe he's the best of the best :) tons of damage and nobody can escape from ya :D

Yes I played draven a few times but I noticed that kogmaw is better..Idk why but I just get more kills :/

Im pretty sure there will be a Zac nerf , but up to you , whatever you lane your best at , Kog Maw is pretty good but you need to be pretty good to get used to him .

Apparently LoL players see it as a downside that you have all heroes from start. That's what I've been told atleast, I agree with you, and I've played 2k hours of dota2 myself. I'm getting a bit bored of MOBA's atm but it's alright from time to time.

I'm trying to play dota, I really do, but man, it's so hard to control. Often I end up ordering courier to move instead of me cause I forgot to switch and vice versa. Controls feel really clunky, towers don't mean anything since they barely scratch you, you can get dived in base no problem. Jungle feels unimportant and weak.
Now what I like. All heroes from start, great! Very unique heroes, more than those in LoL, with very powerful (visually as well as in damage) abilities. The loot ( however having to pay to get it is like giving someone a car and then taking the keys). I'd rather buy equipment sets than individual keys. The only class I can play and not feed all the time are nukers like Lina, i used to play AP casters in LoL (mainly viktor)

Jungle is usually a very dangerous place to farm in from level one without proper warding and supports, because the sidelanes/mid-lane can easily gank the hell out of that weak jungler in those early lvls... The towers do deal damage, but if the enemy gets their creep far in enough and has enough power to kill you quickly then you're pretty doomed if you can't fight back. There are of course heroes who are kind of designed to tower-dive. Night Stalker for example is possibly the number one tower diver, but it can go wrong with him too if he is against counters to him or the enemy knows what to do. I don't really get what you mean by buying keys and such, the things you can buy in the store are just visuals and they don't benefit anyone more then visuals. It's kind of "look at my big e-penis I spent 25 euro on some stupid graphics"... Jungle is easy as hell on low-level pubs though, because noone ganks you and you can just freefarm for 30min. Play axe and buy two stout shields or something and choose the third skill at first levles, just tank the shit out of those jungle creeps and get rich!

I love Kog Maw. All that range, you can create mayhem by building him AP instead of AD. Quite fun char.

Agree with a lot of users you need to find what fits you. Then branch out from there.
P.S. Zac will get nerfed in a few weeks. They make them op so everyone buys them then nerfs them. Expecting to see some base dmg or ap ratio nerfs on his skills.

there is no such champion as "OP" champ it's all about the player skills ...its true that some champions are easier to play and other are more difficult but still it's all about the player skills and if you want ADC champion get Varus or Draven(if you don't have them)

Wow you must not play a lot of LoL then. Riot has even said there are and they try to limit it. But most (not all) new champs come out "OP" with overly high base stats then get nerfed. I think one of the worst was giving Talon a almost 10 mana and health regen. Anyone who have been around a while knows that's riots business model. Now I am not knocking player skill because it helps. But when you release a champ that can hot for without any dmg items is excessive. If you think this is wrong watch LoL over the next month. Wait to see what happens to Zac.

It all comes down to your preferred role. I mean, if you main junglers it's rather stupid to buy an ad carry. First discover which your favorite role is, then buy champs and runes for that role. Also, don't forget getting a few rune pages.
Last tip, you should focus on learning eeeevery role so you can adapt to all situations, especially ranked.
