Maybe not the coolest, but my favorite is the Blue Eyes Shining Dragon. I have a special love for it because I found it during a school trip under a bed, and kept it since then. That was like 10 years ago or so, and I still have it.

I still think total defense shogun was the coolest =^.^= he looked awesome and had great def and could attack while in def mode...could set up some awesome combos and was great in stall decks or beatdowns that dident have much def as well...

One of the forbidden cards: Jinzo. Raigeki, Harpy's Feather Duster, Change of Heart, Monster Reborn, Mirror Force, just take your pick. Other awesome cards: Ekibyo Drakmord, Mask of the Accursed, Sword of the Deep Seated, Salamander. For monsters I like Slate Warrior (cause he's a 1900 attack points monster that needs no tribute and also has 2 very nice effects, unlike Gemini Elf and Vorse Raider), Summoned Skull and Cybertech Aligattor(cause they're the most powerful monsters one can summon that require just 1 tribute). There's also that one ritual monster The Black Mask who has an attack of 3200. He's pretty awesome too.

I stopped playing sometime during AST's time as the newest set (Summer 2004 according to Wikipedia, holy shit time flies), so I don't really know any of the new stuff, but Last Turn was always my favorite card. I built a deck that was very similar to an Exodia deck, only it required fewer cards to win, but in exchange had some slight on-field interaction required. The three cards were Wall of Revealing Light (lower my life points to 1k so I can use Last Turn), Jowgen the Spiritualist (prevent my opponent from special summoning any monster during Last Turn's effect) and of course Last Turn (win the game).
