What's the most ungrateful thing someone has done to you?

my friend kinda left me without any reason, I was supporting her and tried to help when she had some problems, I just felt like a trash because of that, I know her for years

also my best friend who I know from my early days left me and betrayed me, we were like brothers but he also threated me like a shit

I bought my friend a game for christmas and a few weeks later I went to gamestop and they showed me the little "to and from" tag that had been on his gift and asked me if it looked familiar. And I asked them how they got it and they said it was stuck in the game case of the game that my friend had traded in.

Got scammed by a fake friend.

A friend of mine gave me a game that I gave it to him as a present.

It happened something worse than that, but I can't really thing of anything else. Most of my negative experiences I tend to forget.

A friend asked me for a 20 euros game, I know him for years and years, so I gave him the game, and he never played him, the game is just on his library with 0.0 hours on it, and he was much more rude to me than I was expecting him to be :/ it was not that bad but he could have been more frendly

Was buying a game on steam and saw it was on a friends wishlist, so got a copy for him and I to play together but he hasn't played it since, wasn't that big of a deal because he did say thanks but I thought he would at least play it or even play another game with me...

I used to give Dota items that i didn't need and beta keys for a friend of mine, and one day when the RO2 was free on steam (that bastard has a lot of steam accounts) he dropped a lot of trading cards and i asked him to give me some to complete one more badge, and guess what? he didn't even said "no", he just said "i can't :("

...so i deleted and blocked him, fuck off.

Ungrateful things other did to me... Lets see... My friend died, I was so pissed off at him I didn't go to his funeral(for which I'm ashamed to this day... I was 16, don't hate me). Now... a real ungrateful son of a bitch of a friend turned out to be... well, what I just said. Not a friend at all. And finally, third (former)friend borrowed my Hitman: Blood Money - first release, drm free, did cost me a lot back then as I didn't have a job(hell... deja vu, now I'm a hobo again :/). And of course never returned it. First claiming he "has it somewhere, I'll bring it to you next time." After some time he stopped talking to me, and when I tried to call him he didn't even pick up. 21 years old guy(back then). I still don't believe how a grown man could do such thing.

I had my brother living with his 2nd wife in my appartment for around year and half , when they left appartment i found it completely ruined . Also electricity and other bills were over 1000 euros which they didn't pay , their excuse was those were old bills ...

On a funny note(because I can't remember anything remarkable) - no former elementary schoolmate(friends I guess) ever contacted me(I had almost all of them on icq/facebook/phone) but one girl. After 4 years out of school she texted me "hey I was just wondering... Did you know that you were my 5th best friend?" Bittersweet start of a nice, several weeks lasting converstion.

On a philosophical note - The person, who did the most ungrateful (cereal) thing to me was me. It's so because he helped me to realize, that sometimes, the biggest douchebag in your life is just you, when there is noone else to blame. And it's not something you want to hear, especially from someone you know for your entire life.

To make it short : I was with my GF for 2 years and a half, she loved me so much ( once she even cried saying "don't dump me !!!" just because I was a little mad at her -_- ) and she was jealous as fuck when I was talking to a friend. After some time I even left my friends to spend all my time with her and she was pleased to know that.
She dumped me last christmas ( yeah the 25th ) for the first guy she met in her new job.
The worst was when I told her I left everything for her, she just said "Go back to them then, I don't care I'm happier like this"

On the bright side : The friends I left 1 year and a half before helped me to get better and said to me "Don't worry we understand why you did that, come back now".
I will never do it again and I know how precious they are.

Put my life and money aside for someone going through depression. I know how it feels, so I tried to help in any way I could, Even if it included buying the odd game on steam for them. I went way out of my own comfort zone for them.
Eventually got into an argument and I was informed that I'm a horrible person who thinks only about myself, and that I never do anything nice for anyone else.
My only regret was falling in love with him.

I was helping a friend with his math exam. Was really tolerant with his mistakes and spend much time helping him. A Day before the exam I lend him all my stuff, books, lecture notes, everything in my Eastpak. He passed the exam.

The very next day he BURNED ALL MY F*KING STUFF EVEN MY EASTPAK and sent me pictures of it...

I came in this threads expecting mostly sarcasm and jokes.

Helped someone one get an attractive gf and they treated her like dirt. Has happened twice with two different guys and girls.

Don't put yourself in situations where you might get taken advantage of. Be selfless without expecting anything in return (or just expect the worst).

I was once close with a teammate (of game online). Helped her so many times and she treated me like a dirt after that.

Then I said 'enough is enough' so straightforward stopped all communication initiated by me.

Later she said 'you are cruel', but I ignored it - only answered her enough because we're in the same team. She seemed to be unable to leave me because of her dependence on me but yeah not giving another flying fuck anymore.

Standard issue, she left me without any reason, she was just tired of me. Bitch, i hope you'll get fucking beated again, this time i won't be there to protect you.

My boyfriend left me after discovering my previous one has HIV.

I got checked at a LGBT center here and came out negative, still left me "just in case", already was with another guy three days later.

And he knows that I have A LOT of self-esteem issues, and that I suffer from OCD. Not the one OCD that makes you wanna put things in alphabetical order... but the OCD that gives you intrusive, violent, sexual thoughts that involve harming other people... thoughts that aren't yours and can't avoid them or control them, just ignore them (no, I have never done any of those thoughts, but I think you can imagine how stressful that can be, mostly on a guy with 0 self-esteem).

And then he goes and demands me I finish the landscape picture I had started painting for him!

And let's not forget that, when I told him I think of suicide EVERY DAY he just laughed it off! Since then, I just don't have to will to share anything about my OCD or thoughts with anybody in real life...
