Well, there are some story driven games that can be seen as good even if majority don't like them.
Also all I wanted to say is that majority of game are somewhat story driven.

Spec Ops: The Line was awesome, Bioshock Infinite was okay ( don't kill me ) , Tropico 4 has a really good and funny story if you can catch it.

Tomb Raider was actually surprisingly good as well
Sleeping Dogs story was good, not top notch though

Lot of different genres there but the story was very enjoyable to me in all of them.

I also have to say Dragon Age has cliché writing, ugly graphics and bad gameplay. I don't get the love for it. It doesn't even compare to Baldur's Gate
