Honestly if you fall for something as stupid as that you deserve to be scammed.

I'll admit that I fell for the before, but that was years ago. Fortunately I never had any actual problems and have always been pretty good at clearing viruses from my computer.

But for cleanliness sakes: would it be possible to add a quick validation check when a comment is submitted? Just a quick check to see if the entered text contains "keygen" OR "generator".
I'm not stupid enough to get fooled by these; but better to lower the global risk. :)

I disagree with this strongly. I have trouble imagining any word or phrase that could not be used in a legitimate fashion. You start with things like this, and then there's a thread about the weather or some stupid thing. I post about how a storm knocked out the power and I had to crank up the generator. Not only does my post not go through, but in the extreme, I'm flagged as a pirate/hacker/whatever. Maybe my account is even suspended or something pending an investigation. All this to protect a few people who are so dumb/greedy that they're going to wind up getting scammed one way or another eventually. This overemphasis on the protection of the unprotectable minority at the expense of everyone else's rights and freedoms goes to the heart of much that is wrong in the world today.
tl;dr: You hit a nerve. This policy is crap.

I believe that just a notice everytime you followed a link from sg to any other website that you're leaving sg and that you should be completly sure of the legiticy of the link would do well enough. Maybe it could be activated by default and deactivated later on? People that know little to nothing about internet would probably get scared and start searching for comments that say if it's legit or not, while for other people it would be a minor nuisance that actually could be deactivated, so..

Trying to use a keygen to get games on Steam is just really, really dumb.

More requirements should be needed
like profiles must be set up, users before XX-XX-20XX, etc.
