Chernobyl, 26 years to the day

Today marks the anniversary of the chernobyl disaster.

At this time many people around the world are reflecting on the epic struggle the soviets started to battle this day in history. Brave men and women knowingly sacrificed their lives against all odds in lethal doses of radiation in attempts to qualm a disaster that almost doomed most of europe & still can at any moment.

Chernobyl is an eternal threat to mankind & reminder of humanities mistakes

If your not familiar with all this, There is an abundance of video, articles and books on the net.

Please, if you have a story to share, thoughts or best wishes for those lost & displaced do so.

Its likely people will leave troll comments or be disrepectful, please just try to overlook it and do not feed them, You can not reason with someone who has no reasoning this is something they must learn themselves

Yep, true story and game STALKER was all about it. Sadly it got 7 from gamespot becuase"Many people in USA is not intrested what was that chernobily and where it is", said game dev.

I'm glad he was considerate enough to do it actually, They are all heroes and deserve the applause & tears of a lifetime. Sadly though the effects will outlast this.

I know quite a few people on this site are living in areas that were affected by Chernobyl, so I hope none of them were affected by it in anyway and my thoughts go out to all of those who were.
