Recommend me a flight sim (arcade like)

As said above i would be gratefull if someone would recommend me a game that's like ace combat assault horizon not too hard but not too easy btw im not interested in dcs's.Thanks

If you tried Ace Combat, you'll probably love H.A.W.X.
I played Hawx first, and i find that it is way better than Ace Combat Assault Horizon

I played Hawx first part so i know the story , but i dont like the second part i think they kinda messed it up,i think ace combat is actually better than the second part of hawx , thanks anyways :D

What? You mean like Hawx 2? If so, i didn't really like it either, but i found the first one filled the void that was left after Ace combat Shattered Skies(on PS2), which was by far my favourite at the time.
Besides Ace Combat and Hawx, i am not too sure if there are many other arcade like flight games, on Steam anyways.
There is Dogfight 1942 which is pretty good, but kind of short campaign wise, and Top Gun which i didn't really like.

There really aren't many options for modern airplane arcade combat. I guess there just isn't much of a market for it. Hardcore players want the plane sim games, not the arcade style. Peoples' best bet for arcade style flying are all WWII games, or which there are plenty. I've always figured its simply because the planes are slower, which makes for easier programming and more user-friendly gameplay.

I really like H.A.W.X, and prefer its combat mechanics to Ace Combat - Assault Horizon's.
The storry part though, is really forgettable.

Agreed, but i don't like either game's flight gimmick (DFM in AC, EMS(?) in Hawx).
I didn't follow the story in either game.

I quite liked ERS (which you disengage), it allowed for some really fun maneuvers and at times really beautiful action.

Battlestation series and Air conflict series..both great games, u can fly and use boat and submarine too(at least in battlestation, for sure)..they was on deal somewhere

Ahh yes! i completely forgot about Air Conflicts, the best being Secret Wars imo..Vietnam was crap, again, imo.

I hope you don't mind me recommending some very old games from a handful of different systems.

Ace Combat (The old ones for the PS1 and PS2, they were away better than the atrocity that was Assault Horizon).

AirForce Delta (Also known as Deadly Skies, there are three entries in the series, the first for the mighty Dreamcast, the second's on XBox and the third's on the PS2, I never played the XBox game, as for the other two, the first one on the DC was away better than the third in my opinion).

Aero Wings (for the Dreamcast, but as far as I remember, it's more of a Sim, look it up).

Blazing Angels (only played a demo away back when the XBox 360 was a novelty, it was quite fun but the controls were weird, not sure if it made it to the PC)

Eagle One - Harrier Attack (if my memory doesn't fail me, this used to be pretty cool back in the PS1 days).

Hawx (the first was quite interesting, not good but decent enough, never played the second).

Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters (I'm completely unfamiliar with the series, but as far as I know, they're flight simulators, besides this one that is, Strike Fighters is more of an arcade game, never played it before but from what I heard, it might not be that good, but who knows).

There are a lot more games, most which I fail to remember the names.

I played IL-2: Sturmovik 1946 for less than an hour before uninstalling, although I think that was mostly because I didn't have a controller/joystick and its unplayable on a keyboard. I couldn't even control it well enough to take off.

I'd suggest doing some research. From what I had been reading, you can't actually play HAWX 2 anymore, since the servers are down and the DRM requires it. Perhaps there's a workaround now, though.

Most people thought the first one was much better anyways.
