Yeah, going to agree here. I had something I bought for my inventory last night, it vanished earlier today and now just reappeared. Steam community is definitely acting weird.

erm... I mean, you are using Steam Wallet (or some payment methods) to "Purchase as Gift" :P
And I replied to xboxer, he thinks that you are trying to trade a won gift.
BTW, just wait a bit, it seems Steam servers are under maintenance. Check their status here

Trying to send a Steam gift (from my inventory) to the winner of my giveaway right now. Still broken, Steam's babbling something about transactions when I'm not byuing or selling anything... >_<

Fortunatelly, gifting via Trade offers still works. Pheew.
