Hello,

recently I bought Minecraft gift code from this site [deleted],
my account was premium for about week or two, now i'm not premium anymore.
I tried to contact sellers, but all my messages, calls and skype chat were ignored.
So maybe some of you could help me and others (because i'm not the first and not the last one to be scammed) by posting messages on their facebook wall, something like "Scammers don't buy games here" in any language you want.

Also there are more sites like this

Thanks for your time :)

Sounds like you did get scammed. www.minecraft.net is the place to buy Minecraft. Thanks for sharing this warning to others - it's a good idea. By the way, were you able to issue a chargeback?

Why would you buy a Minecraft code from somewhere else besides the official site? Was the code cheaper?

I don't have a Credit Card, and yes the code was cheaper.

Why didn't you wonder how they can sell them for less? Minecraft doesn't have regional pricing.

Well maybe Minecraft was on sale in the official site and they bought keys then...

Minecraft has never been on sale.

There were the 2 for 1 keys (I did this for a friend when I bought mine) so maybe they stocked up then.

It cost 10€ in the beginning, then 15€ and now 20€
But I can't really imagine a situation that anyone would buy Minecraft anywhere else than Notch's site. I wouldn't buy a Rolex from a street vendor near a tourist attraction.

Now, if more people followed your logic, the world would be a much better place. People should treat the internet just like they would treat the real world.

Buy Minecraft only on minecraft.net. Lot of sites like this are buying fraudulently boughted keys. It's pretty simple. Hackers are buying gift codes from stolen credit cards (paypal earlier). Then, they are selling this codes to traffickers. Traffickers are selling codes to this sites. But don't judge sites - they often don't know source of this codes. They don't really care. That's why are this codes so cheap. And why isn't your account premium anymore? Because lots of banks are refusing money from this stolen credit cards. Then Mojang will cancel premium status. It's simple. You CAN'T get regular code cheaper than on minecraft.net. So be careful on sites like this :)

If they don't care to know where their codes come from, I'm going to mark them as shitty and scammers too.

I don't say that specifically this shop don't care, but most of this shops don't care. I don't say they don't care, but it's very likely that they don't. I don't say that other game codes are fraudlent, but Minecraft codes probably are. It isn't possible to have Minecraft cheaper than at Minecraft.net. Mojang don't have discounts or something like that. No retail version, no discounts for lot of copies, only way how to buy Minecraft is on Minecraft.net. So think about it: what shop would buy Minecraft code for 20€ and sold it (for example) for 10€? none, if they would lose 10€ in every purchase, they would bankrupt. I am playing Minecraft more than year and half and I met lot of people who lost their premium like 3ivydas, he isn't first and he isn't last.

Erm ... how would posting on their facebook page help?
You should post on every other facebook page "this is the internet, you are responsible for what you are doing, think before you act. if it sounds too good to be true it probably is"

Some people should have this on their home page.

You got yourself scammed. Should have done a bit of research before you violently hurled your money at the first person who waved a discount.

I fail to have any empathy towards people who fall for this kind of scams.

You should have stuck to the original site, most reliable.

Hmmm. Well, Minecraft codes were available all around internet for 5$ not so long ago, here in russia. Got mine at that time, still works perfectly fine. Edit: That was like summer of 2011. Time sure flies fast.

If you payed by cash through one of those markets which allow you to print the reciept and pay it somewhere else, you can easily just report the vendor at the site, and explain them the situation.

after 4 weeks I finally got the answer, also I contacted the market through which i paid few times, and they gave me the answer.
I got the other key which is definately not for Minecraft because it's longer than 12 symbols.
It looks like this XXXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX-XXX-XXXXXXX and i have no idea that is it for.
