Worked for me (for the skeptics), I waited about half a day (even though I do not mind the wait, since it is a free game). It might be longer for some folks, because of the website having high traffic but you will get your game. Anyways thanks to the OP for the info.

As someone who actually owns Black Ops II Multiplayer - It really does suck. There are definitely games worse that it, but the multiplayer is balls and zombies is even worse.

Yeah, but when the award is "Best Story", descriptions like "i have seen other games which are worse" and "not that bad as anyone says" indicate it probably shouldn't be in the running for this particular award.

Just hold on to them and wait to see if they get marked. If they do, which is very likely, just give them to friends or trade them. There's no point to rushing and giving them away quickly, because they will be marked retroactively, so you'll still get screwed.

I agree, best option is probably to trade them. IMO they should get on the bundle list, no doubt. But this retroactively thing doesn't sound that good. Is there a limit like only a few days backwards or so? Otherwise it would lower the CV of people who donated long ago, this wouldn't be fair. And no I wouldn't be affected. ^^

Yeah and even up to 1 or 2 days, depends on the timezone you are in and wich time Shobo adds in list. Happend to me once, made a giveaway for a game, was marked as received, 4 hours later the game was sold in a bundle and even this giveaway was marked retroactively, although it clearly was not from a bundle.

The Steam Gifts CV system needs to be updated. Gameminer, for that matter, is way ahead of Steam Gifts. You can chose wether to give a key or a gift, and the gift always gives a lot of experience points (known as CV, here), even if the game is bundled. That's the way it should be.

Umm... how? When you select "gift", the giveaway only activates when you send the gift. When you select "key", the giveaway only activates when you paste the key on the field.

Gameminer is a russian site. Kane's Wrath isn't an exploit for them, it's just a game that is very cheap (like Binding of Isaac, for instance). Thus, the experience points given for Kane's Wrath giveaways are very low.

i used a different nickname on the CVG account than on the GMG account and after i voted and went to GMG to select my game it said something like "it seems like you didn't vote already...please take a moment to vote and bla bla bla...your name is on the list"
i went back to CVG and it looks like it's all voted...:|

Ok, enough of this crap... I have only one account on GMG, i have gone through the lag-hell and voted, i didn't cheat or damage anyone, and i can do whatever pleases me with my frickin free personal key, including gifting it to someone of my choice that doesn't have the game.
It's not like i'm selling it on ebay or using it to get free CV here.
