Paypal = biggest shit company i ever encountered.
They permanently restricted my account (can't send/receive money) without any warning because of a violation of their terms of use. At least thats why they wrote. I have no chance to do anything to lift that restriction ever, and their support = lol.
On top of that they restricted me from using my money, that already was on my Paypal account, for nearly 60 months. Reason = security reasons lol.
Actually i am happy that they did that to my account, as they started to get on my nerves with their shit before already.

You can be a legit trader for years and they can shut it down on a whim and then throw your account under a bus until whenever they feel like actually addressing your concerns. Google up on their history.
It always seems to happen to accounts containing large sums, and the freezing period often happens to be for over a year. Funny that. You'd think they would be concerned about hanging onto so many digits for more than a few months for fear of legal concerns, right? Well, unless you literally take it to court, they don't want to know.

Personally I would not store any money with paypal. I have heard horror stories about accounts being locked "for no reason" and regulatory authorities not being able to help the customers. Somehow I think it is not regulated the same way as a traditional bank.

I saw lots of ppl saying it was very useful and good, but yeah seems not always, I will see, the only bad thing was some fees if withdrawing money, but I planned to use it to deposit and pay only, there is also a 1.5% cash back, if you sign up for it.

The stories I heard were many years ago (like during Katrina), and it is possible things have changed. Personally I prefer banks with branches I can visit if there is a problem.

That Amazon.com Visa card seems good, but seems is not available for Spain, only US, as long as others, idk, I still needed an easier method to use Paypal, hope there won't be problems like that with blocked accounts.
Anyways I'm not gonna use it for a lot of money, just like a little help, they don't charge you money every month or year if you use it at least once per 12 months.

i do not know if it is the same but i got a business one and i get 1% cash back on any purchase
i think the biggest use of it would being able to use paypal balance as soon as it is posted anywhere the card is accepted

Seems like I'm the only one in this thread so far who is satisfied with Paypal and never had any problem with them.
Maybe because I don't actually go around breaking their TOS.
I love how some people say they broke their TOS and then say shitload of crap about them like they have the right to break TOS and not have their accounts blocked for that. People just loooove to blame others for their mistakes.

I already have a credit card MasterCard, and today I decided to apply/order for another but Paypal card, this one doesn't depends on the bank account, you can easily deposit money there or take it, to pay where is available.
At least now I will be able to deposit money faster than before when it went ages to go from the bank account to Paypal account.
Just liked to hear what are your opinions about the Paypal Prepaid MasterCard? If someone is already using it, and what are the cons and pros of having one.
