I should have spent another 30 seconds and double checked my password and that I typed it correctly. It was especially bad for the timing of it, I was just about to trade for Half-Life Complete pack :P Could be worse, at least it is only 5 days and not 15 or more. Guess I'll get more school done now? :D

Have you guys ever done this before? xD

Pretty much XD Worse is with Apple passwords... can't reuse the same password within that year and HAVE to have uppercase and a number...

With Gmail (Google) you can't use a password that you used previously ever again! I'm quickly running out of passwords that are memorable to me

EDIT Or was it Live? or Both?

Just keep adding a 1. So if you password is password, then make it password1 then password2 then password3. Easy peasy.

Fyi of course i don't actually use password, but its an easier example than $BazinGa@1 , $Bazinga@2

"..and HAVE to have uppercase and a number..."

Really? So your passwords are always all lowercase, only regular alphabet - if the system allows it? And you see a program / website / service requiring you to use uppercase and numbers (and possibly special characters) as a nuisance?

/facepalm

I always have uppercase and lowercase, I meant on the number part. I use special characters, not numbers, then when I have to change it, I have to make it 2, then 3, then 4 and start running out of passwords. SO I make a new one and forget that xD

Find a seller and ask him to hold the game. I'm pretty sure that the prices will increase.

Well the seller I was talking to wouldn't hold the game, but at least my friend is being very nice and getting it for me then I pay him back. :D

I did this during the summer sale and was pissed. I finally just wrote it down and put it someplace safe.

Nope but steam keeps treating my Chrome browser as new device and disables trading on it for 7 days.
Thankfully I can still trade via Steam client.

If you clear cookies, Steam will treat your browser as new device.

Maybe you have a software that auto clean your cookies and stuff for you? Like Advanced SystemCare or sth.

Maybe browser is set to clean cookies (to not keep them) whenever you close browser, check settings.

I don't understand what you're saying, or how any of that is relevant. You still haven't replied to him. Putting a "@" doesn't magically make it a reply that he gets a notification for. Your comment is a reply to yourself, which you can see by its' position. My comment was a reply to you, as you can see by its' position - because I clicked "Reply" on your comment.

I can trade on my phone, desktop, laptop and tablet.
If one gets banned because of hardware or software changes I always have a backup. (Devices get a trade ban, not the account)
