Regarding Borderlands 2 Season Pass (RU)...

I'm a bit confused, I've read around and people say that the pass itself is region free.

I've also been to some sites and they say that you need the Russian-global version of Borderlands 2 to be able to use the key.

Can anyone confirm whether you actually need the Russian-global version first, or whether using a proxy to activate the key would get it to work?
I pre-ordered my copy of Borderlands 2 off of Steam.

Nope. It's still here. If you buy RU version you get both RU and EU versions.

The RU season pass has both RU and Global version on it. It is ONLY compatible with the RU/Global copy of Borderlands 2 base game though. So if you have the regular Global (EU/NA/etc with no RU version), then you won't be able to use the RU & Global combo season ticket

You didn't read his response then...

Is this Nvidia promo ONLY WW? If so, it won't work. If you get the RU & WW combo DLC, it will only work with RU & WW base game. DRM is still in place, it just allows for worldwide matchmaking and language support.
