SteamGifts and Coupons

Greetings community,

We will not allow coupons for gifting. It doesn't fit the spirit of SteamGifts as it stands and we'd have to put strict regulations on submitting coupons, as they could easily overwhelm the community and take over the front page. Each available coupon would also have to be manually entered. It's a lot of effort with very little reward to the community.

So, please. Do not submit coupons as giveaways.

People were putting the giveaway as the game and then putting in the details it was a -50% coupon only.

I get it, but it's still a damn shame because most coupons will probably just expire the way things are now.
