Alright, I got in contact with Support to allow an extra rule for this one. You know that rule where I can reroll if you already have the game? I can get the reroll if you already own the original Half-Life, because really, you don't need both. So, please don't enter if you already own either version of this game, because it will be rerolled and you will earn a spot on my blacklist.
Or, in the words of Rinarin, "Please do not enter the giveaway if you already own Half-Life, or I will be requesting a new winner, as approved by support."

Yay for extra rules, approved by support. :) I've long planned to 100% both Half life games, before HL3 comes out if possible. There's my chance to jump from 50% to 100%. Happy birthday Delta, and thanks for the whole bunch!

Half Life Source is updated with a new engine, I believe.

The original (1998 Sierra version) used the OrangeSrc engine which is a modded Quake engine mixed in with some code from the id Tech 2 engine. This version (2004) uses the Source engine as what was also used for Half-life 2 but they used the same character models from the OrangeSrc version so it didn't fully take advantage of what the Source engine offers. Probably the biggest improvements IMO over the original are the skyboxes, textures and shadows, and higher resolution options.
It's also the only version that I don't have of ANY game using the Source engine. Even though I understand and respect the reason for the special rule I have always wanted to play the game in 1080p without using third-party mods. Whomever wins hopefully will appreciate this gem of a version. I just need to quit being a cheap ass and buy it.
Another great giveaway Delta! For those who have never experienced playing Half-life this is the one you want to start with in order to follow one of the best storylines in gaming history. While the HL3 jokes are getting a bit stale now the story is still not complete. We HL fans really NEED HL3!!!

Yeah, I lack it myself as well, but I have the original on disc and Steam. I wish I still had my PS2 discs as well, was stolen a while back.
