damn I don't think i checked the upgrade price this last time, I was still mad about the measly discount they gave it in the summer sale in comparison to the 50% off the full version got. I wonder if the 70% was a price error b/c the price history says the lowest its been is $20 which is about 33%
EU1 here don't know if it was region specific but I can still buy the upgrade even if I own Scholar of the First Sin (collector's reasons).

Not entering to respect your wishes, but I do have a general question regarding the upgrade. Will it "change" my base DSII to this one or will I keep my original and essentially add this edition to my library to have both?

Thank you for the answer. :) I looked around the web and it appears they're two separate games, so buying the upgrade keeps both games in the Library. :) Also the upgrade is $29.99 for owners of the base DSII game and $19.99 for owners of the base game + Season Pass. Just thought I'd share. :)
I only have the base game and no dlc and DS is one of my favorite series, I know that if i won i'd put upwards of 100 hours into this. If I won and you wanted a reroll I would understand since you said you'd prefer if we don't enter. But im going to go ahead and take advantage of the polite wording of your response and enter :) please forgive me.

Sorry I can't answer that question. I wanted to be sure to keep Dark Souls 2 so I bought Scholar of the First Sin without the upgrade.
