Seems it's no longer available in the Steam Store but this includes the following DLC: Dynasty Shields, Mongol Faces, Ruler Designer, Songs of Albion, Songs of Faith, Songs of the Holy Land. Gift will be sent via Steam trade window.
I'm quite happy that turn based strategy seems to be on the rise again, contrary to what the major publishers seem to be claiming, and based on what I've read about it, this game looks like a great example of this trend. To mention genre faves, I absolutely loved the first Total War: Shogun (enjoyed the turn-based bits much more than the real time battles), and more recently Frozen Synapse (have yet to give XCOM and the more recent Civs and Total Wars a proper play, though). Heck, I even enjoyed the combat in Fallout 1&2. What are your favourite turn based strategy games?
As always, I appreciate if you comment if you enter.
*I will ask for a reroll if the winner already owns Crusader Kings II

Thank you for making this giveaway, already own it so good luck everyone else! :)
This game is a lot of fun, anyone who doesn't win should check the Amazon thread - according to Mew2, the Crusader Kings Pack activates on steam, and has all the currently avilable DLC/extra junk Paradox has made for this game, so far.
Blind person's edit: Loved the old stuff like Fallout and X-Com. Plus all the stuff I can't remember... :(

Technically this isn't a turn based strategy game ;)
Thanks, already have the collection - and it's one of my favorite games!

Wow, impressive giveaway! Thank you and congrats again on turning nine! :)
What are your favourite turn based strategy games?
Jagged Alliance 2 will probably forever be at the top of my list. The depth of gameplay, character interaction, and massive amount of guns (particularly when modded) is just amazing.
The new XCOM is quite good too though, despite being simplified; it was weird -- I was reading through the patch notes yesterday of a mod for "X-Com - Enemy Unknown" (my folder title) called "X-Com Extender" that I'd forgotten I'd downloaded. As I read through all the notes (tons of changes to the game), I could not figure out if it was for the old one or the new one. Finally one of the last lines mentioned changes to how you move troops out of the ship, which you don't have control of in the new one. Other than that, everything it talked about could've been talking about modding things that are in the new game.
Chess is also nice. :D

I totally agree with turn-based :)
Likewise with Civ 5 and XCOM, but Endless Space is pretty fun as well.

Yeah, the major game publishers are starting to get their asses handed lately, same as in the music business.. if they dont go for some drastic changes (and no, killing the used-game-market, spy on your customers and and charge more money for less game is NOT the kind of change I have in mind ;) ), they will render themselfes obsolete soon enough.
That said, YAY for turn-based-strategy! And thanks a lot for the giveaway!

Superb!
I prefer active pause games (like this one and the rest of the Paradox Dev Studio catalog) to turn-based ones. Of the former, my favourite is Knights of Honor. Of the latter - modded Civilization IV BTS.

My answer is Might and Magic Heroes series.
Thanks for all of these giveaways :D
