Pretty sure they don't normally, but I got refunded for CS:GO because I didn't like it. It might have been in Alpha or some other pre-release state though so maybe that is why they did it.

I made the mistake of buying Onimusha 3 a couple months ago. The game is literally unplayable, and Steam support basically told me "too bad" when I asked for my money back.

Yeah, crysis 1 is unplayable and I was denied a refund. so gg on getting one.

You only get one refund, sucks I know. However depending on who reads it you can get a refund on any game within 7 days by linking to/quoting the eu law

I've heard that in some cases they may give a one-time-only refund if you are lucky. Anyway, regardless of what anyone thinks of EA and Origin, this why their new "Great Game Guarantee" is a step in the right direction.

How do you ask for a refund? Theres no option when I make a ticket.

Steam Support offered me refunds on steam gift games or ones that haven't run yet. If you haven't played much at all < 30mins, I guess you could google search an error message and say it's not running on your system due to compatible problems? Aka using the Win Vista or Win 8 piece of game incompatible crap...
