Strange problem

There's something weird about my PC?
I've noticed it a few times before.
I was playing Evil Within, when it happened again.
The last time it happened was in Battlefield Hardline

It's like, in the top left of a game, a small box opens up, like a chat box.
If I push a button like q, it puts q in the box like I'm typing a message, then a bunch of chinese or asian language letters starts popping up?

Has anyone else come across something like this before?
