Steam is expected to release Developer And Publisher Homepages on June 18th (just days before the Summer Sale). We believe this works very similarly to the existing curator system.

Steam now has the tools for developers and publishers to create a customized homepage page for their organization and to display all the games made or published by that organization. There are a variety of ways you can customize your homepage, and you'll be able to link all your individual games to your homepage.
Once your page is set up, players can then 'follow' your organization to be notified when you release your next title.

Hey, that's not bad. Not bad at all. I like the idea of devs/publishers having their own page, and the ability to follow said page is a neat addition as well.

I like this too. There are some developers who make really nice games and being able to follow them to get notifications about their upcoming stuff is great.

It would be great if they would also allow you to blacklist developers and publishers though, which would make it so you can't see their games in the store anymore.

Wait, an actually good idea? (Even if it is nothing new.)
I thought Valve already used up its good idea quota for the year when they… uhm, did something mildly positive this year I cannot recall any more.

Nice! That's always been one of my favourite features on Itch.

Check out Vavle News Network's video on the subject as well, it's pretty comprehensive:

I always wanted that feature!
If you click on a publisher or developer currently you won't see every game from them as their names are often spelled differently there.
Allowing users to follow them makes that even better.
