why cant you just add them on steam and send them a key? or am i missing something

Drop them in different places at different times.
One guy suggested chat. That's one good place.
This thread would be a good place.
And then you could always set up a puzzle for another key.
After that, you can repeat those as long as you wait a while.

there was a post on it but it looks as if its been deleted as some mods seem to think its "piracy" but it isn't really. doesn't mean you still can't do it, they are not stopping anyone from doing it.
i'd be interested in helping but it'd be wasted on me as im trying to trade warhammer 40k dawn of war for a BTA origin bundle

what people seem to forget is, that pretty much every license that you legally buy from a retailer (may it be for listening to music, watching movies or playing games) says "for personal use only" under the agreements.
just take a look at steam's subscriber agreement...if giving away/trade/sell keys would be "piracy", then this site, the trading forum and anything that has to do with changing a license key's owner would also be piracy, which obviously is not the case. (not yet...)
however, giving away humble bundle keys is morally doubtful, because it's there to help people in need with the funds people are spending there. (and to help out broke companies occasionally, am i right, THQ? :P)
giving away leftover keys may prevent other people from buying a bundle...

i get what you are trying to say but havent i already contributed to the causes humble is promoting by buying it twice? im not preventing people from buying a humble bundle, thats down to the individuals who dont buy it not me. maybe you should reserve your preaching for those people what do you think?

Doesn't HB gives 2 set of different keys? (Origin / Steam)
Once you activated a key (either Origin or Steam), it becomes unavailable (also known as "Dupe), unless I'm forgetting something.
I tried to activate 1 game in 2 accounts (Origin and Steam), it didn't work.
If that's your question, I hope I made myself clear. If not, reply in this comment. :)

Just a quick additional info. I think (due to experience in BFBC2) that when you're playing online, the Origin key they'll give you (in Steam) is like an access code to be able to play in multiplayer. I bought BFBC2 in Steam, activated it in Origin. Meh?
-According to: ttt1107 (SG user): "I can confirm that steam versions give separate Origin keys. I activated Medal of Honor on steam and in my library clicked CD-Key. This gave an Origin key that I then redeemed on Origin and Medal of Honor showed up in my Origin games. I gave the Humble Bundle Origin key to a friend who also successfully activated the game in Origin. Each key on Humble Bundle is a single copy. So you have two separate copies of the same game." / "Like I said each key on Humble Bundle is a single copy of a game. You don't have to use the Origin keys from Humble Bundle to play the Steam versions even if you use the Steam version to play multiplayer. However if you want all games on steam and Origin some of the Steam versions do not come with a separate Origin key, only the multiplayer ones do. This is because to play multiplayer it must be activated on Origin. But steam gives you a new key for that, it is not the same one as on the Humble Bundle."

What is the best way to do it? What is the best way to do Mrs. Simpson?
Both questions don't let me sleep.

Uhh just create giveaways for steam keys and for origin keys do a forum giveaway as obviously you can't give away origin keys using the sites system.
Although someone can specify but there was something about the Medal of Honor multiplayer key where you actually needed to use the origin key even for steam. So you might want to check that out before giving someone MoH. Caught my eye when I read it somewhere but didn't look into it.

i will do them as 'private' giveaways, not on here though coz this forum is full of keyboard warriors who think being a smartarsed cunt makes them some sort of big person in real life. ive made a lot of giveaways here (mostly bundled games admittedly) and also done a lot of key drops and the people who received the games ive given away have appreciated them and i thank them for that but im done with this tbh. im not having a go at you mate, you made a good suggestion and for that you can take your pick from the bundle, gimme a shout on steam. once youve replied ill close this thread.

last time I saw some1 do something like this they used the tf2raffle site and used numbered crates to represent the games they wanted to give away. I suppose you could lump all together and do a giveaway with 5 crates and 6 coolers to represent the keys from the non-BTA.
... well crap. Just checked the site for restrictions and they have a big notice sayin they don't allow key giveaways. bummer.
Will look up an alternative since I'm interested in this as well ....

i bought a BELOW average Humble Origin bundle and i want to give away the keys (for free, no strings attached). heres my question... so we can get the absolute benefit from the giveaway what is the best way to do it? by that i mean what is the best way to make sure every key i give away goes to a different person and everybody can take advantage of the Steam/Origin duplicate/different key situation. if somebody can come up with a solution they can choose the key of their choice from the bundle for themselves.
