Questions About Empire Total War

Well, when I tried Empire: Total War there was an issue with unreadable font for me, I found on forums that it's quite popular problem after one of the patches... And it won't be fixed so I didn't buy full version. Maybe something changed, dunno, it was before release of Shogun 2.

I never had any issues with ETW whatsoever. So yes, it is playable.

Well... Empire Total War has some AI bugs that haven't been fixed yet, but there are some mods making this game really playable (for example DarthMod Empire ).
For £2.49 you can't go wrong. If you like total war games it's worth a try (personally I prefer Medieval II but Empire Total War was really good, even though I played without any mod)

I stopped playing Empire when I first got it because of similar reasons and due to god awful load times. I picked it up again last week and I'm having a blast. The game is smooth and I haven't witnessed any bugs.

I quit playing it because it used to crash all the time, but I got back into it and put over 100 hours into it because I think it was fixed. SO YAY:)

For me the only major problem in empire total war is the pathfiding, for example, during siege battles it's really hard to move your units to the right position.
