New Jigis :D

I'm sure everyone here is familiar with these types of giveaways, but just in case I will go over the important bits; I'll post links to a 3rd party site called Jigidi - where I've created some jigsaw puzzles, they will require either flash or HTML 5 to run (I've tested puzzles on HTML 5 and it worked for me), once a puzzle is solved there will be a pop up window with something like "/@*?!&/" written in it. To enter the GA you'll need to enter www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/BRAup/blahblahblah in the URL bar on your browser.

All giveaways end on the 30th at 9:30am eastern time
Giveaways 2 & 3 require level 1 on SG because we had people who couldn't enter last time. 1 & 4 require level 2 on SG.
If you encounter any issues, please take screenies and let me know here or on my steam account.

Puzzle responsibly!

You're welcome.
I'll put up some more jigis once these GAs are over. Maybe the next set will include games you don't own.

Maybe but don't worry about it, really. I just enjoy relaxing with a nice puzzle and I don't have any room to make real ones so I'm happy you keep providing gaming themed jigis.

I was wondering if I should do a few non game themed puzzles that are still GAs. Like sharing some of my favourite art or something like that. What do you think? I would have to be careful with citing the pictures of course because some might not be as available for sharing as game screenies/bgs are

You totally should! As long as they're not flowers (what's up with people making Jigis of flowers on Jigidi?? it's like a pandemic :P)

I think nature morte is a classic and very widely represented subject in painting over many decades or even centuries. It might just be the fact that there's so much of that out there, and it still being a subject widely covered in art schools today, that leads to its over-representation not only on Jigi but say post cards, home decor or wherever else.

Oh boy yes
And don't get me wrong, I like flowers but cut flowers or flowers in a vase make me sad. Flowers in a field, it's fine. In a vase? Sad Fluffy.

So I've ordered PC parts, building a new machine now as a gift for my fiancé, she's going to want to game and stream. I'm going with an AMD processor but NVIDIA for the G card. sadly my budget can't stretch for the threadripper, that beast makes me drool. But I'm still trying to make the best of it. Not received all the parts yet. And someone stole one of my packages; the one with the PSU and the gaming mouse. I'll just need to purchase a monitor worthy of the new G card, my current one tops out at 75ish frames. There were no decent deals on monitors and my budget ran dry ):
How was everyone else's Black Friday/Cyber Monday?
I think I did well with the RAM/CPU/Motherboard purchases. My G card was practically full price, nothing saved there. Nothing saved on case as I needed a simple to build in and practical one; and those sold out fast so I asked my local brick and mortar store to just ship one from another branch and it will be the full 200$ once it gets here. I think I saved like 50% on the minor junk like Mouse and KB. Maybe 20% on the PSU. Of course Mouse and PSU are currently missing because they got stolen - but Amazon will replace those eventually. And I'll just have to use my own monitor until I can buy something good hopefully in the near future, bit broke now.

That's a nice gift for your fiancé, I think she'll have lots of fun with this badass rig. Too bad there weren't any better deals for some of your parts, but once your rig is assembled and ready, you'll forget about the costs.
Yeah, Amazon has great customer support. Glad you'll get your stolen parts replaced.

I only bought a couple of games and no hardware, but I'm planning to build a new rig soon after Xmas. :)

Thanks a bunch for the new jigis, I already solved one of them, and yeah, I'm slightly improving my lousy skills. :D
Have a skillful bump. <3

aiming for the boxing day sales? o: those should be good
good luck o:

I set up my build on a site where I can mix and match parts to see compatibility and compare prices before the sales started. I had 3 possible builds 1 with an intel chipset, and 2 with AMD, I decided I'll go with the build that gets sales on its components. I like the top tier AMD stuff, but mid tier intel is better for gaming than mid tier AMD (although maybe not better for streaming). But there were no good sales on intel chipsets and motherboards so I went with AMD. I was glad I build those lists online before the sales, because during the sales everything just sells out in a matter of hours and you don't have time to build. I highly recommend building your PC part list before the sales and thinking backups/secondary options in case of items selling out

if you need links just message me on steam, I don't want to link anything not related to GAs here :p

Yeah, boxing day sales is not exactly what I meant, I think this is a special thing for US and UK only.
It's simply more cash for me available after Xmas, and I just have to gather all the needed information regarding current CPUs and GPUs.
Thanks for your tips and your offer of assistance, that's nice of you. :)

Top tier AMD stuff is preferable for me, but I would also choose Intel if performance and price are right. I find AMD to be more likeable since Intel has a slightly shady history and they screwed their customers several times. But my choice mainly depends on value for money, I guess.

Thank you for being so nice and have a bump. :)

Aren't there some online sales right after Xmas?

Both Intel and NVIDIA are pretty douchy but unfortunately we cannot avoid them. And I think different chipsets will be more effective depending on what you plan on doing with the PC. There are some excellent comparison videos and carts online, I personally like linus tech for hardware info.
