List of games that were paid and now are free. What does that mean? It means that either they have changed their business model, it just become free or perhaps they will be payable again later. So, just in case, why not link the license to your account? Also, in case it's removed, you'll be able to download it.
📝 Keep in mind these packages are FreeOnDemand, not NoCost.
📝 If I already have a game purchased, I can't know if now is available for free. So there will be more.
📝 RaChart friendly.
🟧 First chapter or prologue of a game.
🟪 DLC now free, even if the base game is not.
🟨 Free now, but it won't be in the future.
🆓 It was paid elsewhere and now is free on Steam, or it is free even if it indicates otherwise.
🚫 It's no longer free.
⛔ Removed, no longer available.

FreeOnDemand games don't increase your profile counter, don't drop cards and they can be removed from the licenses page. NoCost games are just the opposite, except for cards with the latest Steam changes.

Thanks & Bump!
Thanks for sharing. Too bad most of them look like s**t.
What is the difference between "FreeOnDemand" and "NoCost"? Does that mean they are free to keep forever?

Thanks for Applewood and Flem.
I've been seeing ASF references but don't understand why they're offered. What is it and how is it useful?
Archi Steam Farm is an executable that can do many things such as idle your games automatically for you to generate cards or add licenses to your account in bulk.
on windows you can also just use RUN put this in box steam://install/game number
You have to do that for everyone tho, and it's easier to do it from the store in any case, by clicking on Play.
copy and paste 1 number set, not hard
Thanks very much! Have a heart :)
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Very useful (•̀ᴗ•́)و
Ohhh, great work! Thanks for the asf cmds.
thanks for this
Hey, that's handy. Applewood and Slimeking Tower look like they might be fun games, gonna add those two to my library. Thanks :)
hmmm....I was planning on checking out Applewood at some point.
any chance to to copy cut on asf command line? thanks
edit, np i managed to do this using the web UI-...some games said fail..msotly free to play games..make sense cuz they'r already added to you library, right?
Exactly, if you already have the game it will put a Fail error. About the copy & paste, use Ctrl+V for paste it in the console itself (you need to press C first).
thanks mate for the tips

new Free on Demand game surfaced,:
Soldat sub !addlicense ASF 176610
!addlicense ASF 176610
I was just looking to see if it was going to be paid in the future, so it would be interesting to list it, but I haven't found any info.
This list is for games that were previously paid and now are free, Soldat just came out (on Steam) today directly as F2P.
okay, no problem, shall I remove comment above or leave it as is now?
The thing is, technically it was also a paid game, even if it wasn't on Steam. Should I include it? It's certainly an interesting release. 🤔
Edit: Added with a new 🆓 emoji, thanks!
I've really been hoping to try it out, and it's also free?? Pretty insane :D
Just went free today:
Thanks for the list! But who is deciding which games "are the most promising?"
Thanks for the ASF code list Joseahfer !
Maybe leave a gap if you add any new ones to the March list.
So we don't have to do the same ones again.
Valve has those activation limits doesn't it ?
For new ones it's best to use RaChart (and use the single commands), today I also changed the order, instead of alphabetical, by date to help a little bit.
And you're right, Steam has an activation limit: 50 per hour.
Good stuff ,thanks.
I just grabbed this and stuck it in the ASF command window ,worked fine.

Quick and easy ,that's why i thought a gap on that list for new codes would be cool.
Those browser addons/userscripts don't always work well in some browsers.
If that clashes with the way the codes are retrieved when you do the list then no big deal ,
very happy to have the list anyway ,makes life much easier ,cheers !
RaChart don't works for me on this thread. Any tips why not?
Ni idea, works fine for me. Does it only happen to you in this thread?
Edit: I also use the Steam store method for fetching, maybe that's why?
I found the problem. If I turn off Enhanced SteamGifts & SteamTrades (ESGST) script, RaChart works fine.
Enough to turn off the "Game categories" settings in ESGST.
Thanks for maintaining the list!!
