Hmm, according to the message I got after redeeming it says "ingame reward will be available for 7 days" so it doesn't seem it'll stick around for whenever it gets bundled.

You will get the reward within 7 days. You might get the content the next hour or only next day or so it depends but within 7 days its meant to be delivered unless there is some delay

Might be lost in translation then. The Dutch text specifically states "zal in de komende 7 dagen voor je klaarstaan in de inventaris van je game." (will be available for 7 days in your inventory). Hopefully it's just an incorrect translation.

In Spanish it also says that the reward will appear in the next 7 days, so it's definitively an error in the Dutch translation.

I don't see the translation issue there. It says that the content will arrive somewhere in the next 7 days, not that it will be available for 7 days.
Klaarstaan is niet hetzelfde als beschikbaar zijn. :)

It's also a promo to entice peeps to buy the game I guess. I'm not buying Valhalla until it's at least 80% off though since it's supposedly about the same as odyssey but more faff and not as consistent in story-telling / mechanics(?).
Odyssey has hit 80% off though which is great if you like open-world sword fighting RPGs.
