Not buying early access games, better to wait 5 more years until its fully developed and at that time already -75% but at that time what's the point to buy a 6 years old game which will be very outdated at that time then? This is not an exclusive hater comment, I just never understood why to buy any EA ripped content product when you can buy full releases (other games).
EA is literally just a feature to have excuses if something not works properly, and I not going to be a game tester for free (actually, I need to pay for it)

This is one of the studios that acted like assholes during their Epic exclusive period, at least their social media guy was or maybe all of them are trolls. But when they were asked about a Steam release date, they just pretended to not know what Steam is.

Should have used that Epic money to you know, maybe finish the game. They've had their "early access" period I know for sure I won't be supporting a second one.

Been in development for isn't the same as publicly available for.

I bought this game at release, and it has come a long ways since, though there are still many things I'd like to see added. In my opinion still totally worth it, I got tons of play time out of the content available, and am waiting for a story to release to dive back in and check out the newest content. As for waiting for a sale, I dunno, even after I bought it I kind of kept an eye on this one and never saw it dip below 20% off (I didn't follow it THAT closely, very possible it went below this and I didn't notice).

idk man.. hades had a year of early access with egs, has now been in early access on steam for months, and it's an absolutely amazing game with content still coming. early access to me just means that the devs have more in store for the game. from what i've heard, satisfactory already stands as a really good game. there are games i'd view as completed as still being early access, and there are those "full releases" that clearly don't constitute a full game.
of course i'd still suggest giving early access games a bit more scrutiny before making a purchase. i always check reviews extra careful, see how long it's been in early access and check the last time / how frequent the game is updated.

i've had it on my wishlist for two years and then they ran off to epic.
the extra wait for steam users is worth at least 50% off i'd say.

Cheapest available on epic was $10($20 - %25 off - $5 coupon). If it released on steam at that price I may have caved despite having to wait a year. Now I'm not sure if I'd be willing to pay $5 given how much longer it will take for the price to drop.

I bought it last year I think, and played it a bit. I enjoyed it and it's in my "go back to it one day" list. Colors and tastes... I didn't play NMS very much, all I can say is the building system in Satisfactory hooked me immediatly, while NMS didn't.
If you are not allergic to "the infamous other store", they have a good sale running (10$ discount on any game costing 15$ or more)

Looks like Epic has recently lost a bunch of exclusive games on their "Epic" Epic Game Store.
Here's one more I've been waiting for a long time to come out on Steam. Satisfactory will be available on Steam Monday the 8th of June in early access with a 10% discount.
(In Epic Game Store the price is also currently 10% off from $23.99 to $21.59 so the prices are expected to be the same)Game link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/526870/Satisfactory/
