The lack of 3D depth makes it shallow
The box of the game isn't heavy, so it's easy to pick up. Whether it's easy to play depends on you. If you want to just run around with it, then it's easy.
The box isn't deep. Although the pictures look fine.
The sentiment's that while it's an ok box, it could be way better.

gonna put a ? because frankly this game deserves ATLEAST 4.5/5
gameplay: i've never managed to beat the game i think i stopped playing at the 9th or 10th boss, the gameplay is shallow if you use your terms, but i find the game to be very deep for the ancestor that it is, i personally love boss rush maps where there are no grindings, only tactics and learning from one's own mistakes.
accessibility: the game is not easy to pick up, i remember i struggled to reach the first boss because i had to climb a stupid wall and failed to do so because of some graphic flaws, once i overcame it though the map was silky smooth.
story: i think the story here is very vague yet it exists, i've been told this game is a continuation of ICO which i've never got to play, but i believe there is a deeper story of which i haven't fully understood.
overall: definitely 4.6-4.8/5.

Gameplay: Extremely simple, yet ridiculously charming. Your "bare-bones" essentials really illustrate how alone you are in this land and quest. Fights are a series of simple puzzles. The thrill of slaying a gigantic beast never gets old.
Accessibility: Very easy to pick up and play. Using reflective light to lead to your next objective can be frustrating at times.
Story (if applicable): This is very much an exercise in "less is more." It's the mystery of the land, your quest, and the deities that give this game such an epic feel. I remember reading meta-theories for weeks after I finished the game.
Overall: The biggest thing that stands out for me is how unique this experience was. While there are some flaws, this game will always stand out in my memory. I have replayed it several times and it simply has that FEEL. It was and continues to be a yardstick to measure other projects of similar ilk. While simple in concept, it's anything but in design. The polish still feels fresh even years later. For that, it deserves a full 5/5.

5/5
Gameplay: Awesome. It's easy to learn and master, the mix between fights and puzzles are insane. And of course the colossus are awesome!
Accessibility: Soooooo damn easy
Story: Great story, lots of mysteries behind that, but this is what makes this game a masterpiece. A quest in a forbidden land, to bring back your love....feels
Overall: For me it's the greatest game in the ps2 generation and one of the greatest of all time!

gameplay: it kinda sucks since the ps2 can make about 15 fps, or even less on battles, but the every moviment is clear and easy to get, the animations are amazing and HMMM THOSE GRAPHICS OOH THAT MUSIC;
accessibility: its strange to keep going on a game with no directions, but thanks to some friends help I managed to really understand that atmosphere;
overall: the first game that made me cry, nothing else to say :')

5/5, although I totally overrate it since this game means a lot for me.
Gameplay: Between 4 and 5. Since this is essentially a boss rush (the boss themselves kinda actually being puzzles), the flow of the fights is great. Playing in Hard really shows how well-balanced they are. The exploration / sword-orientation thing is pretty much unneeded, but fleshes out the world.
Accessibility: 5. Apart from lacking stamina and falling off colossi (but this is usually due to the player playing badly) it's highly responsive.
Story: 3. It's OK, nothing original apart from the ending. There isn't much of a story anyway, but at least they didn't botch it.
(Why the switch from 0-10 notation to 0-5?)
(Seconding Deus Ex-the-first-of-them-not-HR as next installment)

I am a huge fan of Deus Ex, but it is simply not worth it to play the first one anymore.

i have looked for your other topics. so a "4/5" is now the best rating for the game? so it stands now for a perfect game?

from an objective point of view you are right (but than the rating would make no sense). from an subjective not^^
and cause my opinion is subjective, i would call "to the moon" as perfect even with his flaws^^

Gameplay: really good, figuring out what to do was always quite an adrenaline rush. However, there were a few spots where controls did not quite respond as expected.
Story: another game where the story is not told, but hinted at, and masterfully IMHO. Very open to interpretation. World feels much older than you...
Music: cannot ignore this -- possibly my favorite soundtrack ever, it really gets your adrenaline pumping during the big fights, or gets really sad and melancholic at other times. This soundtrack is actually often in my playing list when I listen to music.
Overall: 9.3/10. Quite unforgettable game.
Next: Deus Ex: HR, so I would finally rate something below other people.
