ES shows the wrong current/lowest price [fix in the thread]

I've checked this on several games, Steam shows one price, ITAD shows the same price, but ITAD field on EnhancedSteam shows a much lover price as current (and lowest if they are the same).

Anyone else having this issue? What could be the issue and how to fix it?

Prices show correctly here. No idea what causes the issue for you, but maybe resetting your ES settings might help.

I have this problems for some time now with Enhanced Steam, they show lowest (either current or historic) different than the price Steam shows (and yes I mean when Steam is the lowest!), I have € and no idea why it does that so I always check to be sure lowest is indeed Steam but wrong or it is lower somewhere else.

Exactly this. It might be limited to EUR prices or something, but I don't know where they get them. Not one store shown on ITAD shows the fictional price ES is showing me.

like 'The Crown of Leaves' for example it says:
Current Lowest Price: 4,37€ at Steam
Steam says Buy The Crown of Leaves €3,99

No idea where those price difference come from, but it's very annoying over time.

In options, I had it set to EUR under price tab, changed to AUTO and now it works as it should. Can you try checking this option and see if it will help you too?

Last time I tried that it put me on $ for some weird reason, lets see what happens now!
Oh wow, this time it worked! no idea for how long but it did, that's nice! to be honest I forgot there was even an auto option :P

Yay. I am still not 100% sure what will work after January 31st when they stop support for the ES, this feature might end up being removed from the last version after they close the servers.

As far as I understood, everything will keep working but no updates right? just sucks that Steam changed how they see ignored games just after Enhanced Steam stopped changing stuff.

I dunno, I think only things that do not require server will continue working, but am not sure what's in that bunch and what's not. Well.. we'll see soon. At least we fixed this for another month.

Yes, all we can do is wait and see, would suck if it stopped working because we have no good alternative for it, would suck to have to check all prices manually!

Yes, I keep going through http://www.enhancedsteam.com/blog/?p=256 but can't deduce what will actually stop working. I hope he can make deals with ITAD to use their servers for this functionality and just make it work.

That said, I have version 9.9 which he marks as the last, so... maybe it will continue working like this? That would be OK.

I see I have version 9.8 how do you update it? do you need to download the new version from their website or is there an update function I seem to have missed?

Mine is installed through ChromeStore and updates automatically. Try going to your extension options and see if there's an update button.
