most people who got the bundle the other day either haven't had time to see if they like lego star wars games yet or already played them but either way that isn't very tempting i would have thought

I'd just get the regular version.
Deluxe version is just extra character packs, no actual levels/gameplay. And the extra characters aren't even voiced.

recently played this deluxe version and imo the deluxe isn't really worth it. probably better to save the $5 and get the standard unless you really want the extra characters. playing as mando with grogo floating around was pretty cool, but not worth the $5. really awesome game though if you like the lego series. got almost 150 hrs out of it.

between the 9 episodes there's a ton to do if you wanna 100% it like i did. granted, i play pretty slow and will sometimes pause to take breaks (eat, bathroom, let the dogs out, etc.) so my actual time is lower. point still being that for $25, there's a lot of content. according to hltb, the average completionist time is 84.5 hrs, with the longest reported being about 125.5 hrs.

And if you are a gold member (silver?) you can get a stacking 3% off coupon would bring it below $30 for deluxe and below $25 for non-deluxe.
Sadly, I read that the puzzles are even more braindead then normal and the levels are hella small.... so I keep not buying the game.
