The Lego games are all local co-op I believe, they are damn fun! I can recommend Marvel Ultimate Alliance from its original release(X-Men is still better though, remaster that please). Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is local as well.

Are we talking about couch coop? If yes, I have some suggestions, since I am a fan of couch coop ;) But most of them are best to play with 4 players. I will post a full list later, when I have more time, but to start with, take a look at speedrunners, rayman legends/origins, castle crashers, trine 1-3, sonic allstar racers.

Haven't played it solo, yet, but the gist of it is that you start the game, it gives you a link and everybody goes to that link on their device to join the game. Which I think is better than crowding around the keyboard to play classic You Don't Know Jack, but your mileage may vary.

i understand. still it's in your own private use.
i.e. the company CANNOT make you show what you have on the phone and what you use it for. it is against the law in most countries. including UK i believe (but i'm not a legal guy).

I couch-coop quite a lot with my 2 daughters (12 and 7yo), and we didnt like lego (avengers is the one I have) cause of some stupid puzzles and things
