I have mixed feelings about it. I like the series, but releasing in epic was a dick move towards all gamers.
From one point of view it may be good to boycott those bastards.
From another point of view it may be good to show that steam generates much more income, so that next time they think twice before releasing games somewhere else.

This sums up my feelings perfectly. I want to encourage publishers to stop making games epic exclusive but not sure the best way to do that. sigh so many mixed feelings.

I’m indifferent honestly. I’m happy it’s going to be on Steam but I bought it on Epic when the super deluxe was like 50% off and I see no reason to buy it again. I am hoping there will be Epic/ Steam cross play but otherwise... I already own it. Happy for those who had more patience than I did though

Great point. All shift codes for BL3 can be redeemed for steam in addition to Epic. The VIP program is ending but has tons of codes you can use and redeem for loot or golden keys. This should all be doable now even though the game isn’t on steam yet

Honestly, I'm more stoked for DOOM Eternal at this point. Now there's a game that I'd be willing to pay full price for, and it releases the week after this. Borderlands 3 can wait until it gets it's next 50% off discount or so.

The game already had huge discounts. It actually went for a price I would have considered buying if it was on steam. Greenmangaming had a fantastic deal on it not long ago. If it releases on steam with a good discount, preferably the same or higher than what it was on key resellers, then it's gonna be cool. Metro Exodus did a similar thing and it's just fair practice to the customers at this point. If Borderlands 3 gets released on steam at full price, then well, screw 'em.

Same with me, for Metro Exodus. I do have a choice with Anthem too and another game but I believe its FPS too which I am not keen. I knew Metro is an exclusive but I was hoping there's a choice to chose the platform. XD Anthem has so bad initial review and its not a genre I am keen on that I rather chose Metro which is on Epic. hahaha ^_^
