The Stanley Parable demo out!

The demo is out and the game launches on: October 17 2013

According to eurogamer the demo doesn't contain any content from the actual game. So you could play the demo without spoiling anything of the full game.

Just saw that episode! I loved how Galactic Cafe tailor-made it just for Danny and Ross, mentioning the show and their names. The apology part and "Goddammit, Ross" were pretty fun, and their reactions were priceless!

And now, thanks to this demo, I now start giggling uncontrollably whenever I hear the word eight.. Brilliant.

Apparently they did that for different reviewers. This (starts about 4 min. in) is from Rev3 and it was personalized for Adam Sessler.

I was already super hyped for the game having played the original mod, but that demo was goddamn great. GOTY 2013 so far.

And no, I don't mean "demo for the game that will be my GOTY for 2013." I mean "that demo is my GOTY for 2013."

I'm pretty flipping sure Stanley Parable is a source mode (new and old version), and will be free. And even if it wasn't, I'm so sure they've said it's going to stay free anyway.
