Question regarding Steam Adventure 2014

Valve changed the rules of giving away games, as now 2nd and 3rd team will have chance to get some games as well. But here is my question. With "10 team members who scored points will win 1 game" does that mean that these points must be scored on the certain day or I can get earn some points today and still have chance in next 3 or 4 days Thanks for the answer!

What is the rule change you speak of? That explains why the Points ally is more competitive right now, instead of the planned winner taking a huge lead early on....

"Starting today, more people will win free games!
1st place team
30 team members who scored points will win 3 games
2nd place team
20 team members who scored points will win 2 games
3rd place team
10 team members who scored points will win 1 game"

you have to score points each day your team places to be eligible, its not cumulative
